"Today I went out for lunch & I saw this elder lady coming from afar so I waited to hold the door for her, she was very thankful & sweet. She then told the waitress, "table for one", so I waited & hesitated but then I walked over & said, “I'm eating by myself too, would you like to have lunch together?" She was ecstatic! Come to find out she spent the last decade living with her mom who recently passed away & her aunt who recently was put into a nursing home, so she has been having a hard time being alone. We had a wonderful talk, she just kept smiling & saying thank you for listening to me, which made me smile too! By far the best decision I've made all year!!! Her name is Delores & we’ll be having lunch every Thursday from now on." ✍🏽 unknown

@LIVEurovision I have a double room available for Eurovision. Fantastic comfortable double bed. Quiet, clean and tidy. The room has sky Q tele, with Netflix, i player, prime etc. video player, dab radio, desk to work from. Wifi . I supply breakfast and know the area well. 15 mins from Liverpool

Life is different if you don’t depend on our NHS or state schools. If you don’t need to travel by train or bus to get to work. If you swish through airports in private lounges. If you’ve never worried about losing your job, or paying the rent. Their Britain isn’t broken. Ours is.

My daughter works for a restaurant & was today told that she would have her wages deducted as a table of customers left without paying. It is an absolute nonsense I will not tell you the name of the restaurant unless they carry out the threat. Then I will & they will regret it.
