This moment is a turning point for the Indigenous peoples of Manipur. What was intended to divide us through fear, violence, and the weaponisation of ethnicity is instead bringing the people closer together in unity and political resolve. From Imphal, a collective voice is rising against Chin-Kuki narco-terror networks and against every proxy structure that has been used to destabilise our homeland for political and strategic interests. The people now clearly see the larger design behind the conflict, and they are refusing to be manipulated any longer. Those who believed they could redraw the destiny of this land through intimidation and externally-backed aggression have fundamentally misread the history, civilisation, and spirit of Manipur. No group lacking historical legitimacy or moral standing can bargain away the future of this ancient land. The Great Puya spoke of a time when divided blood brothers would once again stand together after collision and suffering. That time has arrived. The Indigenous communities of Manipur are awakening with a shared understanding, to defend the land, preserve its civilisational identity, and resist every form of exploitation, occupation, and engineered division. This is no longer merely a conflict over territory. It is a struggle for dignity, truth, survival, and freedom.

@KipsKuki @Paari_Athouba A Burmese refugeé like you has no right to talk about Manipur, let alone talk about its disintegration. Keep conjuring more Kukiland maps on social media, the only place where Kaniland exist, minai. 🤡

I am a @BJP4India supporter for sure.. The day they screw up.. I would favour the best alternative.. they are meant to serve us.. not the other way around.. But you are still favouring the group that screwed Northeast India for their political gains!

.@BhardwajAnanya, this report reveals your bias. Three reasons: 1. The Thadou group, which was closely associated with the assassinated church leaders, has repeatedly appealed to the media not to refer to those church leaders as “Kuki leaders.” Yet you did it again, without even mentioning the context and dispute surrounding that identity. How does your journalism forget to explain the context? It is important for your readers. 2. This same Thadou group has repeatedly and implicitly expressed their suspicion toward Kuki militants in the killings, alleging that the church leaders had consistently defied their diktats. Yet you conveniently placed the suspicion solely on the Nagas just because there is a Naga-Kuki conflict going on. That's so immature. It is perfectly fine to keep Nagas as one of the possible suspects until the facts are conclusively established. But portraying Nagas "alone" as the suspect and ignoring the bigger picture of other undeniable patterns expose your bias. Not asking you to be neutral but give a complete picture to your readers , that's it. 3. Background: before ascertaining any facts on Thadou church leaders killing, the Kuki militants had reportedly killed one Chiru Naga farmer and kidnapped innocent Nagas, so in an effort to bring back those Naga hostages alive, the Naga side took up measures by detaining some Kukis to prevent Naga hostages from getting killed. They are not the same, are they? How could you not write this objectively? Naga side has been showing wellness video evidence of the detained Kukis but Kuki side is not reciprocating in anyway. On contrary, Kuki side said they don't know the whereabouts of those Naga hostages. How is it possible? You should write all these aspects if you aspire to tell stories objectively. Your effort in ignoring reasonable analysis and competing perspectives is hurting The Prints' credibility. @ShekharGupta @ThePrintIndia
