@BasicAppleGuy Ghost / phantom touch. It might work better if you mess with the touch accommodation settings, the “magnet trick”, or disconnecting the touch panel itself

That’s what the iPhone Air is to me: Very thin and light and just the one camera and speaker and slightly-underpowered but very very good chip
It’s a massive shame it’s $999

What if Apple released a new iPod Touch this week?

@Sankew06 If you enable Wi-Fi Calling for each SIM you are using then you can use your mobile service anytime you are on Wi-Fi (or secondary SIM) even if you don't have a connection to a mobile tower. This is not due to the Satellite setting, it has existed since iPhone 6.

Here’s all my proto Pods so far. 6 in total. 2 with matching boxes. Some have AppleInternal software. Have not dug deeper yet.

I just keep SCOOPING prototype / pre production Apple HomePods cause no one knows what a HomePod is, let alone what the special ones look like

@luciascarlet I had it running on a Microsoft Lumia 950 under full Windows 10 as a world server.

@eliteobsolete No chance they were still manufacturing them in 2025 when they discontinued them in 2022. It could be a remanufacture warranty replacement from various sourced parts, but not brand new.

Only got a small scratch on mine, likely from one of the drops that caused these dings in the frame
All around, the glass has aged at least 2-3x better than any other phone glass for me.
Ceramic Shield 2 is exceptional phone glass.

@zollotech @willccbb Every single time I get a video call it shows on my Mac and then takes over my entire iPhone with the camera so I have to press disconnect on my iPhone and manually go into the app to answer the call because it didn’t ring on the iPhone because of the Mac.

@alexmatthewsar @PressStartAU I wouldn’t say it’s going strong anywhere (USA, Canada, Australia), but at least it’s hanging on in Australia for now.
English

@PressStartAU Gotta feel for gamers and Pop Culture fans in New Zealand to see EB Games close there, it's an end of an era. EB Games still going strong in Australia.

@ZuzuOnFire Well, they’re all Disney movies, just not in the traditional sense when Disney was always animated. If they’re under 20th Century Fox, they’re Disney movies or ‘properties’. I think the backing of Disney for Avatar and 20th Century Fox is a good thing.
English

@kaylemate People only throw Disney movie at Avatar as an attempted knock. They're never consistent. If you wouldn't call Alien: Romulus a Disney movie, fuck off with that shit about Avatar.

Dr. Zuzu (Lightstorm janitor)@ZuzuOnFire
@CreateGreatnes1 Your argument only works if you call every 20th Century Studios movie a Disney movie. Better see the same energy for Sam Raimi's Send Help. Further, Avatar started under 20th Century Fox. Pre-Mouse.

@miaaowing Stainless steel or titanium would be preferred. I’m sure they could have still added the vapour chamber while using one of those materials with just as good results. They’ve conditioned us for premium materials, and aluminium just doesn’t cut it for this kind of device.
English

@chrisprice @WithinRafael I don’t think it’s that deep. It’s made for one device.
English

@kaylemate @WithinRafael It's also registered with the USB IF. A key tenant of USB is that special modes must never activate on USB standard devices.
They should have issued a recall. But that would have exposed the problem to trial lawyers. I'm still amazed there weren't class actioned to this day.
English

@Cakes_Comics Ordinary 3D can cause headaches and other issues. Avatar 3D (as long as it’s in high frame rate) does not.

@UnbendableStraw The Sub will make this sound excellent!! I ran this setup for many years, and adding the Sub opens up the PLAY:1’s a lot!
