@Sankew06 If you enable Wi-Fi Calling for each SIM you are using then you can use your mobile service anytime you are on Wi-Fi (or secondary SIM) even if you don't have a connection to a mobile tower. This is not due to the Satellite setting, it has existed since iPhone 6.

noticed something very interesting today i could somehow use my SIM card on my flight that had Starlink connectivity, when I had my carrier’s Satellite functionality turned on(iirc my carrier uses Starlink too) this is not a bug, I can confirm

@eliteobsolete No chance they were still manufacturing them in 2025 when they discontinued them in 2022. It could be a remanufacture warranty replacement from various sourced parts, but not brand new.

the very last iPod ever made. this 256GB iPod Touch 7th was unboxed & activated today. late October 2025 manufacture date. Covered under Apple’s warranty until January 2027. AppleCare+ coverage into February 2028.

Only got a small scratch on mine, likely from one of the drops that caused these dings in the frame All around, the glass has aged at least 2-3x better than any other phone glass for me. Ceramic Shield 2 is exceptional phone glass.

@zollotech @willccbb Every single time I get a video call it shows on my Mac and then takes over my entire iPhone with the camera so I have to press disconnect on my iPhone and manually go into the app to answer the call because it didn’t ring on the iPhone because of the Mac.

@miaaowing Stainless steel or titanium would be preferred. I’m sure they could have still added the vapour chamber while using one of those materials with just as good results. They’ve conditioned us for premium materials, and aluminium just doesn’t cut it for this kind of device.

anyone with an iPhone 16, 17, or 17 Pro have this around their camera control? it seems to be actual chips and damage TO the aluminium...

@kaylemate @WithinRafael It's also registered with the USB IF. A key tenant of USB is that special modes must never activate on USB standard devices. They should have issued a recall. But that would have exposed the problem to trial lawyers. I'm still amazed there weren't class actioned to this day.

Reminder: The Microsoft HD-500 Display Dock is USB-C Spec 1.2 non-compliant and dangerous. Do not use it, throw it in the trash. Amazing how many people still sell/use this thing.

@Cakes_Comics Ordinary 3D can cause headaches and other issues. Avatar 3D (as long as it’s in high frame rate) does not.

Avatar Fire And Ash is EXCELLENT. Me personally, I recommend seeing it in 2D and 24fps. This is because I’m one of those few people that can’t watch 3D, it triggers migraine, probably because I have astigmatism. Anyway… that aside I was FULLY transported. It’s just great.
