Time Out has voted Melbourne best city in the world for 2026. I don't know what they are talking about. Melbourne is dead. Naarm is shit. The Australian Open is dreadful, over-crowed, overpriced and miserable. Too many people. The Australian Grand Prix is boring. The Boxing Day Test (Ashes aside) is sitting in Mumbai not Melbourne. Who lines up for an hour for a burger? Unless they are public servant knobs and rich kids from Thornbury and Brunswick, that would be zero. Melbourne's "coolest streets" are filled with mentally unwell people, homeless, druggies, and youth hoods. They smell like urine. So many of the great shops have shut down to be replaced by Noodle shops. Melbourne CBD is basically one giant noodle shop - with a multicultural mix of everyone but Australians. The Metro Tunnel, and a filthy Yarra ... The rose colour glasses were on when writing this review. I wonder how bad the rest of the world must be.

Utterly shameful, 160,000 Australians to be cut off the #NDIS, with $15 billion to be cut by 2030 from its annual projected budget. While we don’t tax foreign gas companies which would raise at least $17-$18 billion annually with a 25% levy. Help it make sense!
