@oorusr @LightField @Anthropic Thanks for sharing! We're actively working on custom objects and relationships. We were sad to ship without them but needed to launch. They will be coming in late Q2. I will reach back out when they're ready.

Actually, an immediate stop reason was that you don't allow custom data objects like twenty.com does it (ofc you are nowhere near in the same arena as twenty, as you are on the front of the AI disruption, which twenty is currently not touching) but it really stopped me.

Yesterday, we launched @lightfield on Product Hunt. It was a little sad to be beaten by Claude (we love @anthropic — just not on launch day) but proud to be ahead of OpenAI, Perplexity, Grok, and many other great companies. We got so much demand that we needed an extra day to scale up before opening the API. One of the structural advantages of being a system of record that serves hundreds of YC companies and early stage startups is that our customers are already building the way every company will build in a few years. New companies want to use tools like Claude to orchestrate many agents at once, blending context from their data warehouses, CRMs, HRISs, documents, code repositories, and more for complex analysis. No new company wants to be locked into doing their work in a specific tool or UI because the data is stuck there. We may have been competing for upvotes but I think we're all actually building towards the same thing — a headless, API-first approach to company operations where agents work across systems to do sales, marketing, engineering and more to accomplish hard multi-disciplinary tasks. This stands in sharp contrast to the closed-system approaches we've seen from HubSpot, Workday, and Salesforce. We have a big launch coming up soon that will be a major step forward in this direction. More soon.

Is migrating off HubSpot more interesting than the next foundation model release? Product Hunt thinks so. We just launched an agent that does it for you: – rewrites your CRM schema in real time – deduplicates messy data automatically – migrates tens of thousands of records reliably (no hallucinations) No consultants. No “migration project.” Just run it. We made it fully self-serve and are giving 3 months free to anyone who tries it. We’re live on Product Hunt today — would love your support (and help beating Claude): producthunt.com/products/light…

Lightfield has come a long way in a short few months. Every couple of weeks it changes how the company works as new capabilities come online.

It's tapping into us being "language first". At the architectural level, it's about what customers say vs. what people put into fields. At the interface, it's about language instead of workflows. We've designed the agent to do everything that a human can do with the UI. You'll be able to chat with it via voice soon :)

Are we actually ready for billboards? We’ve only been out of stealth for 3 months, so it feels absurdly early. But we tried to answer the question the same way we evaluate product market fit. Here were the signals we looked at: 1. Do we actually have PMF? One proxy is promoters. Hundreds of customers have referred other companies or posted about @lightfld. Usage is another signal. Activated users spend 35+ minutes per day, 5+ days per week in the product. Hard to spend more time somewhere than ChatGPT and not get some value from it. 2. Do trials convert? This one surprised me. About 1 in 2 companies that try Lightfield become paying customers. We haven’t even built real onboarding yet. That number will probably fall with scale, but it suggests awareness may be the bottleneck. 3. Does brand matter in this category? CRMs are systems of record. Companies evaluate them at specific moments in their lifecycle, usually when they start scaling or launch a new business line. They don’t migrate every week. So when the buying moment happens, you need to already be in the consideration set. Notably, about 2/3 of our signups come from word of mouth or referrals. 4. Does brand signal durability? We win a lot of bake-offs. But customers still ask the obvious question: “Will you still be around in 10 years?” Having a lot of brand awareness So we wrote some big checks and started covering San Francisco. You’ll see more soon.

@stefanoscalia @lightfld Let's check back in a month. I used to have that view too. It helped me close a deal this morning because the economic buyer was worried we were too small.

The difference between winning and losing an enterprise deal is rarely obvious. It’s often nuance. A misread stakeholder. A subtle risk signal. An approval dependency that wasn’t surfaced. Lightfield continuously models: – who influences the deal – who holds budget – what approval requires – where risk is building – what unlocks expansion From that model, a full account plan can be generated in minutes. When the model reflects reality, you get more precise insights and the right action items to move the deal.

🏆 SaaStr AI App of the Week: @lightfld Lightfield is the truly AI-native CRM ⏩It remembers everything Lightfield ingests emails, calls, meetings, Slack, product usage, support tickets — and stores the full, unstructured record. Not compressed dropdown fields. The actual conversations. ⏩Schema-less from day one No upfront configuration. No spending 3 weeks setting up custom fields. It captures everything immediately and lets you evolve your data model over time. You can even backfill 2 years of historical data. ⏩You can talk to your CRM Ask it "Which customers asked for this feature, and why?" or "Which of my active opps went quiet after a positive signal?" and get real answers with citations back to actual conversations. This is what AI was made for. ⏩It does the work, not just the tracking After every meeting, it suggests CRM updates, drafts follow-ups, flags stale deals, and builds your pipeline. The human approves — so you still trust the data — but you're not doing the busywork. ⏩Personalized outreach at scale It can slice across structured fields AND unstructured conversation data, then draft personalized emails based on what was actually discussed. Not "Hi {First_Name}" mail merge. Real context. ⏩Revive dead deals in minutes One customer revived 40+ stalled opportunities in a single two-hour session — leads he'd neglected for 6 months on HubSpot. His response time went from weeks to days. His customers noticed. ⏩Gives engineers customer signal Ask "which customers asked for dark mode, and what was the context?" and your product team gets real voice-of-customer data, not a spreadsheet someone forgot to update. If you're a founder doing early sales, or a team of 2-15 reps, or you're just starting to build out GTM — Lightfield is purpose-built for you. The team: Keith Peiris and Henri Liriani, both ex-Meta. Built products used by billions. Backed by Coatue ($81M raised total). ~40 employees. SOC 2 Type II certified. Shipping fast — MCP connectors, workflow builder, dark mode, code execution all landed in the last 2 months. Pricing: Free plan available. Startup plan at $36/user/month. Pro at $99/user/month with white-glove onboarding and dedicated CSM. The bottom line: CRM: Everyone uses it, no one loves it. Lightfield changes that. Check it out -> Lightfield.app
