Congrats to Penn senior Kellen Watson on finishing 5th in the 100m Dash at the IHSAA Boys Track State Finals with a time of 10.57 seconds. Quite the performance considering his 1st full race of the year was just 2 weeks ago. Greenwood’s Will Riley won the 100 in 10.40 seconds.

In my 20+ years coaching, tonight I saw two of the gutsiest, never give up efforts I’ve ever seen! Total team effort. 4x1 and 4x4 relay faced huge deficits and adversities but BATTLED BACK AND NEVER QUIT! Not to mention Watson battling back. Then watching baseball battle back for conference championship and softball scoring the runs they needed for conference. There’s only one thing to say….MENTALITY AND WANT TO ARE EVERYTHING! NEVER GIVE UP, FIGHT UNTIL THE END! GO PENN! #ProudCoach
