Stop saying stupid crap like that @brithume!
It’s insulting to us Texans.
As if we’d break a 3 decade old record of ‘no Democrat senators from Texas’ then sent the likes of that radically-insane-far-left-nutjob to represent Texas.
He can’t identify what a woman is and he sure as heck can’t identify who/what God is. That’s insulting to over half of Americans, and him being a vegan - well now that’s just personal to Texans.
Today is Vote for @KenPaxtonTX Day!!

🚨 NEW: Fox’s @brithume on the Texas Senate primary race: “An endorsement by the President has repeatedly proved to be a leg up in these primaries.”
“But this is an interesting case because Cornyn really hasn’t been an opponent of the President in any meaningful sense. By and large he’s been an ally of the President. It’s not entirely clear why he chose Paxton.”
Maybe the bat shit crazy white liberal women who encourage and codify the mentally unstable men pretending to be women and lift them up on a pedestal ‘advocating’ for them and demanding we normalize them and not mis-gender them (which apparently this officer got them Mel calling him a ‘she’).
😑
Sorry for the run on sentence, but grammar aside that’s where Blame is deserved.
@JDClarkTX I was there and I have to say your speech was amazing. Loved it! It was moving, on point and heartfelt. Thank you sir and it was a pleasure meeting you.
I just posted about event on my account.
Honored to deliver the keynote at Wise County Veterans Group Memorial Day Ceremony. This day is sacred in the American story, a day to remember those who gave everything so the rest of us could live free. May we never become so comfortable in freedom that we forget what it cost.
Memorial Day 2026
Today I did exactly what Memorial Day is meant for: I remembered and honored the military men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
For years, I was one of those people casually saying “Happy Memorial Day.” Other than watching the wreath-laying at Arlington on TV or the occasional parade as a kid, I didn’t truly understand the weight of the day. I’m a little embarrassed by that now. 😣
This year was different. Listening to veterans speak, watching the raw emotion still present decades later — it was meaningful, humbling, and deeply educational.
It was special.
My husband and I took our friend Robert (many of you have seen posts about him) to the Wise County Veterans Group’s “A Day of Remembrance” at the beautiful Wise County Veterans Park in Decatur, Texas. The event was well-planned and heartfelt.
I’m so grateful to Diane for introducing us to this group. Along with two other ladies, we help several local veterans with grocery shopping, laundry, medical appointments, and whatever else they need. I love that we found Robert. I’ve always been proud of our military, but my appreciation has grown so much deeper.
Military service runs in our family:
• My daughter is career Coast Guard
• I’m an Air Force brat
• My brother and uncle both served in the Air Force (my uncle earned two Purple Hearts but won’t speak about his service)
• My dad was Navy
• Mike’s grandfather earned a Silver Star and Purple Heart in WWII
• My grandfather worked as a mechanic on the Thunderbirds
I’m especially grateful that President Trump chose @PeteHegseth as Secretary of War. Seeing the military regain its strength, unity, and respect again has given me a renewed sense of pride I haven’t felt before.
It took a lot to wake me up — years of taking my freedoms for granted while raising a family and building a career. I’m thankful for the painful realizations that came from watching things deteriorate. Holidays like this should never be treated as just another three-day weekend (looking at you, “enjoy your holiday” crowd 🙄).
I’m no longer a “Happy Memorial Day” person.
I’m now a “Have a meaningful Memorial Day” person.
I’ve learned the true history of the holiday, the solemn wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the staggering statistics across wars, and why the WWII generation earned the title “Greatest Generation.” I now wear Red on Fridays (#REDFriday), advocate at the VA when needed, and understand how much some veterans — especially our elderly ones — need help getting to events like today’s.
If you have a veteran in your life, reach out. Sometimes they just need a ride, a little help, or someone who refuses to let them fade into isolation.
Today was a powerful reminder of what we owe those who never came home.
📸Picture shows Robert on far left, my husband Mike is next to @AndyHopperTX who is far right the other gentleman is in the Wise County Veterans group and is our Wise County Sheriff Cary Melleman. I’ll post more in comments with some cleanup videos when done editing.
Ps: taking Robert to go vote tomorrow for @KenPaxtonTX!! That’s another reason to befriend some local veterans in your community!l! They may not be voting because they need a ride!!!
Ken Paxton vs. John Cornyn
What Ken Paxton did in his personal life and marriage is between him, his family, and God. He’ll answer for those choices himself. But I have a problem with the argument that “he failed at his marriage, so he’ll fail as a senator.”
As Texas Attorney General, Paxton has done an effective job and has strongly backed the America First agenda and President Trump’s priorities — priorities that 77.3 million Americans voted for in 2024.
Cornyn talks about integrity, yet his campaign ads themselves are often filled with spin and selective messaging. More importantly, many voters feel he has dropped the ball on advancing the agenda they elected him to support.
To be fair, the Border Patrol union has supported Senator Cornyn for years because of the support he has given them and his involvement on border issues. He helped secure border funding and, around 2017, played a role in advancing infrastructure projects related to staffing, resources, and technology. He also helped get a facility renamed in honor of a fallen agent. So there are understandable reasons they support him.
But endorsements alone don’t determine my vote. Unions, labor groups, business organizations, and political leaders endorse candidates for many different reasons. Sometimes it’s because they genuinely support them, sometimes because of policy priorities, relationships, strategy, or political obligations.
With that said, while President Trump’s endorsement matters, support from Turning Point Action (@TPAction), Brandon Gill (@realBrandonGill), @CPAC, my state representative @AndyHopperTX, and even Paxton’s former opponents @WesleyHuntTX and @aaron_reitz carries significantly more weight with me.

It is an incredible honor to receive an endorsement from Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
She has been one of the most powerful voices in Washington as Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee, opening the doors of banking and finance to Black and Brown communities who were locked out for generations.
Well I don’t believe that logic at all! And what he does in his own life with his wife is between them and God. He has done an amazing job as AG and is fully behind America’s agenda and supports Trump in those endeavors.
Cornyn also lies and manipulates each day just in his campaign ads alone - so integrity????!! He has dropped the ball on America’s agenda - basically not doing what we as voters want him to do.
The border union has shown great support for the Senator for years due to the level of support he’s given them and the border issue in general. (So he was doing what we Texans wanted him to do so basically his job.).
Sen Cornyn got them border security funding and around 2017 was instrumental in infrastructure projects that the union had wanted for staffing, resources and technology. He also helped get a facility renamed after a fallen agent, so yeah they kinda like the guy.
While endorsements are great, all unions, organized labor groups, business interest groups, business and political leaders do it. The reason’s ‘why’ may even differ (e.g., they like them, they need them, or they feel pressured, or even they ‘owe’ them).
So with that said the endorsement of Trump was great but the likes of Turning Point Action (@TPAction ), Brandon Gill (@realBrandonGill ), @CPAC, my state representative @AndyHopperTX as well as his former opponent @aaron_reitz endorsing/supporting @KenPaxtonTX mean more to me than an ‘obligatory’ one from a Union.
#TeamPaxton
@kelstrom@realBrandonGill@BjDazzy The Border Patrol Union backs Cornyn. Paxton has no integrity. Cheated on his wife and paid restitution for fraud. If he’ll cheat on his wife, he’ll cheat on anyone.
The primary is over.
Ken Paxton is our nominee.
Time for all Texas Republicans to unite around him unless you want this weirdo to be your next Senator.
Kaitlyn - yes, two things can be true at the same time, however this is not one of them. I hope you are just trying to be kind and actually don’t know the history of Floyd, but please do a little research. He was a bad human, drug addicted (that’s not necessarily what made him bad in and of itself) and was initially approached by LEOs the day he died because he had committed a crime (trying to pass counterfeit money at a store/manager called police).
Had he not been doing something criminal he could very well have avoided the situation all together and lived to see another day.
The fact that @Jacob_Frey posted this rage baiting tweet is indicative of the evil level that the far left democrats pander to. They (Mayor Frey Et al) are telling us who they are and who their base are.
A Pure unAmerican demonic CULT.
Sergeant Glenn E. Long was a United States Marine Corps veteran who served with the 9th Defense Battalion during World War II. He earned the Silver Star and a Purple Heart for his bravery during action in the Solomon Islands on July 26, 1943.
Combat Heroism
During the Solomon Islands campaign in July 1943, an American tank was disabled by an enemy magnetic mine. Sergeant Long volunteered alongside two other Marines to tow the tank back behind U.S. lines.
He courageously ran into open, exposed territory under heavy fire from hostile snipers, machine guns, and mortars in order to attach a towing cable. During this gallant effort, he was seriously wounded by enemy sniper fire, but his actions successfully returned the tank and prevented Japanese forces from utilizing it against U.S. troops.
Awards and Legacy
For his conspicuous gallantry, Sergeant Long was awarded the Silver Star. Additionally, he was awarded the Purple Heart for the wounds he sustained in combat.

Y’all this is one of my #KAMKids interviewing @KyleBusch at Tulsa just 5 months ago. 😢
This is from her racing page but if you have Facebook go watch the interview. If s a different Kyle than most people saw from back in the day. I had met Kyle multiple times back around the time 2010 time frame (the year we filmed The Dirt Life is only reference for time I have), and I know first hand why some didn’t like him - he was kinda an ass when I met him!
But as a race dad…. No one better!! I at h this interview and see how kind he is and how kind Krexton is to this little PR Genius in the making.
Senator John Cornyn admits that President Trump’s endorsement of Ken Paxton over him was to “send a message” — because Trump was frustrated that the Senate was unwilling to pass his agenda.
CORNYN: “You know, I really don’t think it was about me.”
“I think it’s very different from the Cassidy and Massie situation because I’ve been a Trump ally...”
“I think he got frustrated with the Senate not able to get what he wanted when he wanted it.”
“And as you know, the president can be a pretty impatient guy and I certainly understand that. He’s a chief-executive guy, he’s not a legislative guy.”
“And so, I think he just got frustrated and he wanted to send a message.”
