Michael Kay is right. Willie Randolph (66 WAR) has a great Hall of Fame case. 66 is higher than 12 of 21 2B in the Hall.

@SNY_Mets @jerryblevins @mmargaux8 Yes he was. However, execution appears to have been poor. Those guys weren't getting it done. But he jettisoned a lot of offense, where exactly was he planning on picking that up?

@sean_p_sullivan @DanBartels2 I'm not so sure he needs to be replaced. Can he really be blamed for Lindor not hitting along with his other lapses? Can he be blamed for the poor offense overall? While he shares blame, Stearns is just as deserving IMHO.

@DanBartels2 He seems like a nice guy, but he needs to replaced. This team is nowhere close to their potential. He has a track record of not getting the most out of his players. It's simply time for a change.

@Bilbo_Haggis @JomboyMedia He's been around for a long time, and has been bad for a long time. He seems to be getting worse, but perhaps it's because Angel Hernandez is finally gone, so there's no one worse any more.

@JomboyMedia Alright…I don’t know really anything about CB other than the blunders at the start of this season. So this question truly comes from a place of ignorance, but…is this a DEI hire issue??

@evan_bentley @ryanhanrahan Thanks for the response and clarification, Evan. In the lead up to the release of CIG, it was communicated that the distribution for CIG 1 days saw x% for each wind speed category across the total CIG 1 events. I think that’s where the confusion began. Appreciate it!

I've kept my mouth shut long enough - yesterday's Moderate risk DID verify. Yes, the tornado threat was a bust, but the wind threat verified Moderate. There seems to be a LOT of misinterpretation about the new SPC outlooks between the public and mets alike. However, SPC has published a wealth of data on their site (highly recommend giving it all a read to further understand the new CIGs and how they play a role into forecasting moving forward). The 1300z Wind Outlook provided a 60% CIG 1, which correlates with a MDT risk issuance. Practically Perfect odds supported a 75% CIG 1, which confirms a MDT was the risk that was most adapt for this risk. What I'm hearing is a lot of people saying that gusts never hit 75+ mph, and that makes for a bust. When in reality, SPC data shows that CIG 1 wind days produce winds between 57-72 mph OVER 85% of the time. Winds above 73 mph only occur 13% of the time. The tornado threat bust, yes. But yesterday's Moderate risk was the CORRECT CALL and was verified by over 88 wind reports in the 57-72 mph range.

@Kristin0323 @KDJmedia1 @NYSPHSAA Agreed. People forget what the P stands for. Now to get NYC and LI involved. Pretty crazy that the most populated parts of the state aren't represented in the state playoffs.

@kenrad24 North Adams is finally back - still waiting on Pittsfield with no ETA - it is a comms issue, rather than the actual instrument causing this (similar issue to North Adams).

The WBC isn’t a sideshow anymore. The conversation has shifted from "Should MLB players participate?" to "How soon until the next one?" Baseball at its loudest and proudest is an identity that MLB could lean into year-round. Column for Deesha’s Dugout: foxsports.com/stories/mlb/wo…

@panderson1988 @awfulannouncing Years ago FOX did this for a baseball game (going back to 1930s/40s style and gradually advancing decades thru the game). It was very well done. They went all in including black & white, wardrobe, everything.

@awfulannouncing The 90s throwback graphics have aged well. I hope they might do a throwback game with baseball when their season kicks off. There is something about the 90s graphics package being colorful and having soul. That said, the current graphics package on NBC is great! ESPN's is meh.

@GuyDealership 10 minutes on a loan is not the problem. That's probably the most important part unless you swing a cash deal. Otherwise, the deal is dead. It's waiting for your rep to speak to the manager, waiting on the f&I salesman that are the biggest killers.

Buying a new car is faster than ever: Nearly 2/3 of buyers spend less than 2 hours at the dealership, according to CDK Global. That includes the test drive, paperwork, titling… everything. The good news: Dealerships are starting to feel less like DMV windows… But, there’s still room to move faster. Because when you’re ready to buy, 10 minutes waiting on a loan approval feels like an eternity. _____ Data from @CDKGlobal.
