A decision has been taken that lands under CP & Berar will be converted from ‘Class II’ to ‘Class I’ directly by the Government, eliminating the need for any application process.
‘सीपी अँड बेरार’ अंतर्गत येणाऱ्या ‘वर्ग-2’ जमिनी सरकारकडून थेट ‘वर्ग-1’ मध्ये रूपांतरित करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला असून यासाठी अर्ज करण्याची गरज राहणार नाही.

The Strait of Hormuz (named after the Zoroastrian God Ahura Mazda or Hormuzd) has been a choke point in the current war against Iran. But this also happened to be a passage from where a couple of thousand Parsis left the shores of Iran over 1,200 years ago for India. It is believed that sometime in the late 8th century AD, the Parsis departed in boats from Bandar Abbas and traversed through the Strait of Hormuz, making their first landfall at Diu in Saurashtra. The Kisseh-i-Sanjan—an account of the arrival of Parsis, written four centuries ago by a Navsari priest Bahman Kaikobad—records that the refugees remained in Diu for 19 years. After that they set out again and reached Sanjan after a harrowing journey by sea.
The only reason they left Iran was to protect and preserve their ancient faith. And India was the only, repeat only country, where they could do so.

A real loss for British Indians!
@VDoraiswami departs @HCI_London to take charge as @EOIBeijing.
Few envoys have combined accessibility with credibility the way he did.
Grounded, responsive and widely respected across the diaspora. His departure thus leaves big shoes to fill.
His move at this critical moment signals how India is doubling down on strategic balance, engaging every major power with clarity and confidence.

In our community the special food for Ugadi / Padwa is the tender cashew nut stir fry
It's called upkari
First keep the tender cashews in water and wait for the skin to get soft. The peel the skin from the tender cashews
In a pan, temper (tadka/ phodni) curry leaves, mustard seeds in coconut oil (gives that authentic flavour) till the mustard seeds splutter
Add red chilli (byadgi mirchi)
After a couple of minutes put the peeled cashews, cover the pan and cook on a low to medium flame
Optionally add some jaggery to taste (not to make it sweet but for flavour)
After it's cooked spread some grated coconut on the top and mix well
The upkari is ready
It's a very simple recipe but extremely tasty
Try it some day

Had a productive conversation with my brother Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and conveyed advance Eid greetings to the people of Oman.
We agreed on the need to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy for de-escalation and subsequent restoration of peace and stability.
Reiterated India’s condemnation of the violation of Oman’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and appreciated Oman’s efforts to facilitate the safe return of thousands of people, including Indian nationals.
India and Oman stand for safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

Twitter is full of mostly disappointing, negative news. So here is an inspiring, heartwarming story of rising against the odds to bring back positivity:
Manoj Kumar Rajak was a regular govt job aspirant, so poor that he was struggling to repay just an ₹85,000 education loan. But Rajak didn’t give up. He kept trying and trying, finally cracked the code, became an electrical engineer in the Bihar govt, and thus began his journey of jan-seva.
By the time Bihar’s Economic Offences Wing caught him yesterday, he had amassed more than ₹100 crore in property, with a modest salary of ₹12 lakh a year.
He built properties across Bihar, Bengal, and Nepal, land, houses, warehouses, even a tea garden, mostly routed through benami holdings in family members’ names, like a petrol pump for his wife and a gas agency for his brother, along with real estate investments.
Despite being married, he overcame those restrictions and even managed to make a Nepali girlfriend, for whom he built a luxurious bungalow in Nepal and made other investments.
Manoj’s life is a shining example that with relentless dedication, hard work, and bold vision, no dream or goal is too big.
