@MakeDCSafe @FeverPotomac @charlesallen @POTUS This is a lie. There is no carjacking in the current DC code because it is so old. Prosecutors are using a statute that has a higher maximum than most states’ car jacking laws. The new DC law would still have been longer sentences than most states.

‘I’m totally devastated’: Hill cafeteria worker recalls carjacking rollcall.com/2024/05/21/cap… Now imagine if this were your mom, sister, aunt, cousin, or friend. This has to STOP. #Ward6 is COMPLETELY out of control. Allen’s policies have taken us back decades. His failures have led to this chaos. This is insane. Think about all the traumatized people. We deserve to live and work peacefully in our communities, not in constant fear. Enough is enough. Do better, #DC.

@theHillisHome Thanks to @charlesallen's failed criminal reform act, we can no longer count on Congressional Dems to reflexively vote against meddling in DC affairs. Also worth noting that 2 Dem votes came from members who were victims of crime in #Ward6. Time to @recallallen.
