@kevinpostsonx @fees75 @KobeissiLetter You don't get it. If their is a 20% tariff on an item Walmart sells. They will not up the price by 20%. They will ask the distributor to discount or they will source a substitute. The importer will tell the exporter unless you trim your price you will lose the contract etc.

As I stated in my response. I disagree and told you why. Yes, they could do business as usual and pass the tariffs along to the consumer but companies are smart. If their price is increased by a manufacturer they don't have to blindly accept it. They can shop their business elsewhere. Therefore they don't have to raise their prices. They just source their goods from somewhere else. You also have your facts wrong. The only entity that pays a tariff is whoever receives the goods once they reach a US Port. I have imported goods before. I am guessing you have not.

@kevinpostsonx @fees75 @KobeissiLetter The initial point was that if tariff revenue was used to reduce US income tax. US consumers would be fully paying for the tariffs via increased consumer prices. I was simply pointing out the income tax cuts, would be partially funded by offshore entities and US corporations.

My background is supply chain, logistics and distribution. What you are saying is partially correct. Yes, you can break the tariff up amongst the supply chain but that's not the best way to handle tariff increases. I just look at competitors. If china has to pay a 50% tariff and Vietnam only pays a 10% tariff, I would just ask Vietnam to produce my goods. Vietnam knows they are stealing market share from china and they are highly incentivized to not increase my COGS at all. Real capitalism doesn't increase costs, it lowers it. Unfortunately everyone thinks the capitalism we have now is "free markets." This is not the case. What we have noe is crony capitalism dominated by lobbying and regulation. It's sad.

@fees75 @KobeissiLetter Tariffs are split between the offshore producer, offshore exporter, international transport company, US importer, US distributor, US retailer and consumer. 20% of Trump one tariffs made their way to retail prices, 80% was born by the other components of the supply chain.

I received many questions and comments on how I picked that MSB level on $ETH, so gonna clarify a bit this concept. In a trend, the structure is composed of two components: a High and a Low. Obviously, in an uptrend it is an HH and HL, while in a downtrend it is a LL and LH. In our case, we are downtrending, so the structure we have to consider, on the timeframe we selected, is the one composed of the latest Low and the following high. Anything in the middle is just an internal structure, not the "real" structure. Or in other terms, considering the fact that price is fractal, it is a structure in another timeframe. A few of you have asked, "why not use the 3100 high instead?" Well, to me, that is an internal structure, not the lower high formed after the latest lower low, so while it might be considered by some as an important level to break, it is not relevant in terms of the 1H market structure. It simply something happening in the middle. To me the relevant high to break is the one formed after the LL at 2900, so the one at 3160, anything below is just a Lower high following the most recent LL at 2840. Hope the chart clarify the concept visually. Now the point of this post is not to convince you to use one or another, it is just to point out how to properly mark structure levels. I will probably record a video on this topic, as I often see a lot of confusion about it.

$ETH 1H - As long as we don't get a MSB at least on the 1H, with a higher high I will simply expect another lower low. My IQ is really low, so this is all I am gonna monitor and this is all I needed to avoid blowing my portfolio with longs lately like most in here. Being a retard is a superpower in this market. Further details on the post below.
