@major_pawan @sjaishankaroffc @marcorubio Who stops @adgpi @indiannavy @IAF_MCC from protecting Indian lives and interests? Border threats are handled by the military when required. If thugs don’t seek permission before attacking Indians, why should defending Indians suddenly become a political debate? Did Modi say Hold?

Let this tweet reach the ears of @sjaishankaroffc @marcorubio 👇🏻 After seeing the zero sensitivity of Marco Rubio over the call for the murder of three Indians by US forces, we must stop calling US a friend and we must wait for a chance to kill equal number of US citizens, that will be the most fair deal US can attack Venezuela, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Rwanda , Uganda, Syria etc at their will but they should think twice before attacking anything related to India or Indian A request from prime minister @narendramodi to boycott the meeting with Trump in France, trump has killed your people and it’s not even 12 days are over , we can’t share a drink with him Hello Indians Let us all boycott everything which is American, if the govt can’t do for it’s diplomacy lets us all do it #BoycottUS #BoycottModiTrumpMeeting

@TimesNow @ShashiTharoor I have no doubt Modi has given free hand to @adgpi @IAF_MCC and @indiannavy . I still have questions why they let these thugs target commercial vessels? Why people from northern hemisphere come down to our waters and attack our people?

Not rule of law. Has the UN given responsibility to US or any international organization has taken control of international waters. Are they part of some anti piracy operation? And military operation against shipping of civilians, even thieves have to be rescued when in trouble. At high seas or against enemy action when sailors are in distress, they are rescued. It is not law but moral obligation. The low standards of morality touch a new low for a military that was considered to have some principles. No more.

@sidhant @marcorubio , ships carrying energy and civilian sailors are not the problem. The problem is a blockade and escalation policy that has put innocent lives at risk and disrupted global trade. The world is paying the price for a crisis it did not create.

@ANI It’s easy to talk about violations from Washington. Harder to acknowledge the sailors killed, families affected, and global energy markets disrupted by policies that have turned a regional conflict into a global problem.

Tommy Pigott, Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State, says, "US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke yesterday with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The two officials discussed recent events in the Strait of Hormuz. The Secretary stressed that all commercial vessels should immediately comply with orders from U.S. forces as they seek to uphold peace and security in the Strait. He underscored that violations of the U.S. blockade and the illicit transport of Iranian oil will not be tolerated."

@suhasinih Let the Indian Navy protect Indian ships and Indian sailors. Normal trade and navigation cannot be declared illegal by someone else’s definition. Sovereignty means defending our interests, not seeking permission to do so. 🇮🇳

Breaking down US statement, that marks an escalation over the issue of 3 Indian seafarers being killed by US Navy, here's what it says: 1. Vessels must comply with US orders (Why?) 2. US forces are seeking to uphold peace and security( By shooting unarmed ships?) 3. In the Strait (But US ships are in the Gulf of Oman) 4. Violations of US Blockade ( which have been many) 5. Illicit transport of Iranian oil (Not according to international law, and US sanctions are only punitive economically) 6. Won't be tolerated (Regardless of loss of lives, or contravening international law) Awaiting MEA response. state.gov/releases/offic…
Suhasini Haidar@suhasinih

US State dept readout of Jaishankar-Rubio call indicates sharp differences: "Secretary Rubio stressed that all commercial vessels should immediately comply with orders from U.S. forces as they seek to uphold peace and security in the Strait.  He underscored that violations of the U.S. blockade and the illicit transport of Iranian oil will not be tolerated.

@PTI_News Let the Indian Navy escort Indian sailors and merchant vessels. Freedom of navigation cannot become a “violation” simply because a foreign power says so. If protecting Indian lives and trade is considered escalation, then so be it.

@GeneralBakshi General, public anger is understandable. But this is also a reminder that when a nation depends on others for critical defence technologies and equipment, its leaders cannot always respond with the freedom people expect. Strategic autonomy begins long before a crisis.

INDIAN LIVES MATTER.3 Indian ships have been attacked by the Americans and 3 innocent unarmed Indians murdered. Video clips show the ship was static. No transcripts of communications between ship and US Navy have been provided. 90% of Iran,s oil goes to China. Reportedly over 100 Chinese ships have Jumped this blockade. Not one Chinese or Russian ship has been struck. Just because India has gone out of its way to be friendly with US, it has responded by attacking our ships and murdering our sailors. Kissinger had rightly said- it is dangerous to be an enemy of US but it is FATAL to be a friend. There is a school of thought that IS LEAST CONCERNED WITH THE DEATH OF POOR INDIANS. Their deaths they feel should not poop the party in Europe G7.So the initial response was to shrug it off and make a pro-forma protest without Calling the press. It was only when there was outrage in the Indian public did we gather the courage to protest loud and clear. Pak had made it a habit to kill unarmed Indians till we pushed back. Now the Americans are ushering in a new era of colonialism and gun boat diplomacy. There are those in India who would like to compete with Mulla Munir in licking Trumps shoes. Was 250 years of Colonization not enough? Can we kindly outgrow this slavish mentality and behave with the gravitas of a 10,000 years old civilizational state?Just see how China treated Trump.

Australian homes for Australians. An approach to housing that we’re confident is backed by the majority of Aussies. This common-sense housing policy has caused quite the stir amongst sections of the media. Nevertheless, we’re grateful for the help they’ve provided in ensuring that our housing policy has been given widespread prominence across their platforms!

Migrants make up about 30% of Australia's population but around one-third of Australia's workforce. International education alone contributes over $50 billion annually to the economy. Skilled migrants are selected because Australia has shortages in healthcare, engineering, construction and aged care.

Labor Minister Tanya Plibersek says Labor has “cut” migration by 45%. Does this look like a cut to you? The number of migrants in the country has only reached record highs since Labor came into power. It’s now at all time record of 2.6 million temporary visa holders in the country (excluding tourists, crew and transit visas).
