90 years ago today, more than 26% of the U.S. land area reached 100°F (37.8°C). At least one location in 33 states reached the triple-digit mark. They were: 🌡️ 118°F (47.8°C) in CA 🌡️ 115°F (46.1°C) in AZ 🌡️114°F (45.5°C) in WI 🌡️113°F (45.0°C) in IL, IN, and KY 🌡️112°F (44.4°C) in IA, MI, and MO 🌡️111°F (43.9°C) in ND 🌡️110°F (43.3°C) in AR, MN, and NV 🌡️109°F (42.8°C) in NE and SD 🌡️108°F (42.2°C) in KS 🌡️107°F (41.7°C) in TN 🌡️106°F (41.1°C) in MS, OH, and WV 🌡️104°F (40.0°C) in TX 🌡️103°F (39.4°C) in AL, NY, SC, and UT 🌡️102°F (38.9°C) in GA and PA 🌡️101°F (38.3°C) in LA and MD 🌡️100°F (37.8°C) in FL, ID, NM, and WY The 112° reading in Mio and Stanwood, Michigan, and 114° reading in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin were both new statewide high temperature records that remain in the books to this day. Obviously, this event was just weather, but if this were to occur today, climastrologists would be 100% certain that this was “virtually impossible” without so-called “fossil fuel pollution.”

The world is not waiting to find out who controls Hormuz. It is building around it. Goldman Sachs tracked 7 pipeline and export projects now under construction or planned across the Gulf. 1. By end of 2027, over 45% of pre-war Gulf exports could bypass Hormuz entirely. 2. By end of 2028, that rises past 60%. 3. Median Gulf pipeline construction time: 2.5 years, faster for disruption driven projects. 7 to 9 million barrels a day will still need Hormuz no matter what gets built. Qatar's LNG has no alternative route at all. The era of Hormuz as irreplaceable is ending. It is not ending fast enough to matter this year. source @MarioNawfal

Here's how it's gonna go. Trump will announce evidence of wrongdoing in elections. Democrats will accuse Trump of lying and creating election chaos, interference, etc. Half the country will believe Trump. Half the country will believe Democrats. We will continue posting memes and making fun of each other.

This is not a never ending war- in fact the president limited strikes, there’s been no troops on the ground, and pushed for peace. It is Iran that kept breaking it. Now we are back at kinetic strikes. But this has never been a “never ending war.” And everyone should be 💯 behind these strikes, as it is now more clear than ever that Iran would have absolutely developed nuclear weapons, and this would all be a very different conversation. A lot of criticism concerning the strikes with Iran are very shortsighted. I’d love to live in the fairy tail world where if we just stay out of it, everything will be hunky dory. That’s just not reality.

Balls and strikes: We should never have started a never-ending war in Iran... that was a huge blunder by POTUS. He should have listened to his team. But now that it's done, perhaps the best strategy is for POTUS to "seize"/protect the Striaght of Hormoz in exchange for % of the cargo we protect. Of course, it's illegal and all that.. but I bet the folks impacted would take that deal!!!

Our poorest citizens live better than most of the world’s middle class. American welfare recipients routinely enjoy air conditioning, cars, smartphones, flat-screen TVs, and refrigerators full of food. That’s not “poverty” by any honest global standard. Compare them to the average worker in India, Brazil, Mexico, or large parts of Africa and Asia, people who may never own a car, experience reliable electricity, or see the inside of an air-conditioned home. America’s poorest have access to opportunities, safety nets, and material comforts that billions can only dream about. This isn’t failure. It’s overwhelming proof of American abundance and exceptionalism. Stop the victim narrative and recognize reality.

For months, I’ve been warning that Trump might try finding “fraud” from the 2020 election in order to justify heavy interference in our midterms. It looks like that “announcement” could be coming this Thursday. Don’t believe the narrative he’s trying to push.

Holy crap! If true, this is huge. But I'm not sure how America is going to take it after the apparent lapses in American sovereignty over the last 12 months. Even the NDAA vote this week is painfully symbolic.

NEW: Trump's Thursday speech is slated to address newly declassified intelligence reports that the White House asserts reveal plans by foreign nations to interfere in the 2020 election, according to two White House officials granted anonymity to discuss internal plans.

BREAKING: Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi responds to President Trump announcing a 20% fee to transit the Strait of Hormuz: “POTUS is absolutely right. Whoever provides secure and safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz should be compensated for this service. Iran has always been the guardian of the Strait and will remain so forever. 20% is of course too much. We will be fair,” he says.

🚨 BREAKING: In a massive development, President Trump is expected to announce the "HEALTHCARE PRICE CUTS ACT" as soon as TOMORROW to fix the broken Obamacare subsidy system that gives billions to Big Insurance. He has officially CORNERED the Democrats on Obamacare. They will now defend Big, Rich Insurance. The bill would halt Obamacare premium spikes, per MSNOW. The plan reportedly includes a DEPOSIT mechanism, putting money into a Health Savings Account, incentivizing lower-premium options. It would also end the premium hikes, end zero-premium subsidies, and STOP massive fraud known as "ghost beneficiaries." Trump recently said: "I am calling today for insurance companies NOT to be paid. But for this massive amount of money be paid DIRECTLY to the people so they can buy their own healthcare!" "We will pay a lot of money to the people, and FORGET this Obamacare madness!" FOLLOW @SpecialForceWeb

Thanks to Schumer’s previous shutdowns, we lost $7-14B in GDP, 7,500 flights were canceled, and more than 1,000 TSA Agents quit because they couldn’t afford to work without pay.  Now, he’s planning another shutdown. That might help his party, but it hurts all Americans.
