As Attorney General, my team and I required a big box retailer in Bellingham to remove land use restrictions in its former location so that another grocery store could open. Rep. Farivar's bipartisan bill ensures that kind of unreasonable restriction won't happen in the future. Proud to sign it to prevent food deserts in communities where grocery stores have closed.

@CorbinSmithNFL Taxes suck, but there should just be a standard 10% income tax that everyone pays and then no other frivolous taxes like property and capital gains.

I have a really dumb question: Why can't we just have a flat tax rate for every person? And get rid of the stupid deductions, etc? Just have everyone pay the same rate in the U.S.? It would save us from so many damn problems. And all these idiotic arguments.
