What's interesting is that most apps are window-based. I'm not sure I would prefer to look at windows in Vision Pro rather than on my MacBook. I kinda expected more spatial apps. But maybe it's too early, and they will come later. immersivewire.com/p/apple-vision…

I feel like in the last few years we've somehow jumped from "every app costs $1" to "every app requires you to pay for it monthly"… Is there maybe like a middle ground between those somewhere? 😬

@Joe_Duffy Thanks for bringing this up. The web extension was developed by a freelance contractor. I should have better checked their implementation before releasing. I've completely removed AMP redirect from 1B. The update is already live on the App Store now. I'm truly sorry for this.

Compare the below screenshots of the code from @1BlockerApp with a very similar functions in @OverampedApp. They’re just too similar to be coincidence, especially given how bad my implementation is (the bug never should happened).

The @1BlockerApp’s “1Blocker Scripts” Safari Extension is very suspiciously suffering the same bug I just fixed in my @OverampedApp extension. Looking at the source code of their extension it looks very much like a copy/paste of my code 🤔

This also applies to the App Store. We've all seen many times how some apps just get abandoned over time. The ones that push through the tough or boring times eventually get their pieces of cake. I hope this will be motivating for you to keep building whatever you're building.

In case you're curious, what you're seeing is Apple's Virtualization framework, which handles installing macOS (& Linux) into virtual machines, running it, and displaying it, plus input, audio, networking, and more. I added SwiftUI to make a basic app, and… it just works? 🤯

I feel like it should have taken 100x the code it did to make this work, but here you go: SwiftUI + Virtualization + macOS Ventura all together 🚀
