David Stearns’ ideal roster was what he trotted out on Opening Day. It was built in his image, with run prevention and kicking out every fan favorite Met. And that roster failed big time. He has nothing to try but young kids at this point. Let’s not act like this is David Stearns

@draftniks @letsgaymets I dunno if we're in a position to play that card lol. In the 7 years that we had a core of Alonso, Nimmo and McNeil we made the playoffs twice. We now have a new core and that's ok.

I ordinarily don’t get too bent out of shape about retiring numbers and who wears what…but Morabito wearing 8 is just the EASIEST headache to avoid. The reaction is probably a tad bit silly, but also why even let this happen to deal with that reaction? SO avoidable. So Mets 🤦🏼♂️

#Chiefs WR Rashee Rice violated his probation after testing positive for marijuana (THC) and has been ordered to serve 30 days in jail.
He was booked this afternoon in Dallas County, Texas, and will be released from custody on June 16. That timeline means he’ll miss OTAs and minicamp.

Can’t be right.
If a pitcher enters the game up by three with one batter left to retire and finishes the game, they don’t get the save. And that rule seems to conflict with the second rule, making the second rule redundant.
