@psimpsonmorgan @hannahkwootton Interesting. Looking back to 2018 it's always been ~9-10% of total SMSF assets. Clearly skewed towards larger SMSF balances though. That said, generally much higher than I would have thought. Any ideas why? Asset protection for owned commercial property? Something else?

@MayneReport Out of interest - Think it's worth other teams listing? Would think that Easts, Melbourne, Souths could do it. Maybe Bulldogs / Eels with a large fan base too? Suspect many boards wouldn't want the scrutiny though...

We welcome the @FinancialReview and @Johnkehoe23’s news of eight independent federal MPs teaming up to oppose the federal government’s plan to tax unrealised gains on #superannuation balances above $3 million. This comes as other key crossbench senators, including @DavidPocock and #JacquiLambie, also object the draft laws.   Like us, these MPs are concerned about the significant stress these proposed changes will place on Australian superannuants. @lachlanhardy @webjam Best event format of that era. Still tell people about it. Keep the domain and run them again when you’re able to. Think the focus on demoing cool shit rather than pitching will resonate as much now as it did then.
