It’s almost June! That time of year when we display our personal beliefs on gender, sexuality, identity, and family. 2026 will be the fourth year since my husband and I made The Family Proclamation into a flag representing our religious freedom. We did this because we personally experienced the subversion of our family’s religious freedom by the state. When “pride” and its accompanying doctrines were forced on my children in Murray UT’s public schools in 2021, I felt compelled to do everything I could to take a stand against it. In 2023, I felt inspired to create this flag and display it in response to “pride month.” I know other flags have been made, but The Family Proclamation is the only flag that directly demonstrates why pride ideologies are antithetical to my religious beliefs, as I so eloquently proved in Utah’s 3rd District Court last year (thanks, Kennedy Nate of RQN 😘)! Let me make this clear: my family’s religious freedom was violated by the state in the name of LGBTQ+ Pride. Thus, my response necessitated a clear demonstration of why and how “Pride” violates my religious beliefs. And that is why I needed (and created) this flag in response to “Pride.” Try as they might, no other flags do the job for this issue specifically. Displaying my religious beliefs on gender, sexuality, and identity is not an insult to anyone, and if you see it that way, then sorry, but you failed to comprehend the assignment. Religious freedom is protected by the First Amendment and my rights don’t evaporate just because someone is offended by them. If you love truth and want to defend your religious right to believe in 2 genders, marriage between a man and a woman, and our identity as children of God, feel free to join me and my husband again this June in displaying The Family Proclamation. We have flags available at cost. Venmo $15 with your address and we will get a flag shipped to you asap. Link in comments.
