@mchkzn Fond, fond memories. Used to bike there as an 8 year old with buddies (5KM one way) from our home in Stittsville. No helmets, oversized bike, with some cash in the pocket hoping to score a solid vinyl record, or some trinket. No worries. Man, how times have changed.

The former lands of the old Stittsville Flea Market. Operated here for decades and closed in 2004. A Sunday destination for decades. That shack is all that’s left of the buildings. Some of the property has been built on but much of it remains undeveloped.

@grahamctv Honest question... I often see guidance saying that the food bank needs money more than it needs food. That the food items people choose to donate are often not the most helpful in terms of ingredients and therefore money allows more flexibility. Is that off base these days?
