Mike Francesa tells us that Zuby Ejiofor transferred from Kansas to St. John's because he didn't want to sit behind Joel Embiid any longer. Embiid's last game with Kansas was in March, 2014 when Zuby was nine years old. Not to mention that Embiid only spent one year in college.

What happened last night in the World Series is ridiculous.
The game went to 18 innings, and the Dodgers won with a walk-off Home Run
Was it hit by possibly the best baseball player of all time, Shohei Ohtani?
No, because the Blue Jays intentionally walked him in the 9th, 11th, 13th, and 15th innings, and walked him in the 17th as well, which was intentional for all intents and purposes with no strikes.
Of course, there are times when an intentional walk is straight-up great baseball strategy. But what the Blue Jays did last night was just being chicken and not playing the game.
Baseball needs to introduce a rule to stop this nonsense. I'd vote for a rule that stops it, like in my OP, open to ideas.
For anyone not already following Shohei Ohtani's career, I highly recommend it. He is on pace to put Babe Ruth to shame. In the last series, in just one game he pitched 6 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts, while also hitting three home runs. (Is that a negative 2.00 ERA for the game?). The best single game performance of all time by any baseball player.
