This photo, supposedly taken on I-80 at Donner Pass during recent storms, appears to be of something else entirely. @slay_the_gnar says he shot this in 2011 on Highway 88 near Kirkwood. Can that be confirmed so we can set the record straight? #CAwx

@annehelen MIT had one for EECS, but the masters was usually covered by an RA or TA grant. It was a really popular option.

Were there "co-terminal" Master's Degrees marketed to you at your undergrad, where you pay more tuition and effectively end up with a BA and an MA? I want to hear more

@amyngyn this resonates. I'm also struggling with what ambition means to me, and whether I'm being unambitious for changing my goals, or reaching for something else.

I've been feeling this so much for the past few months! I used to say my goal was eventually becoming a staff and then principal engineer... but lately I've felt that I don't really want that role for myself and uncertainty about whether I'm a "quitter" for changing my mind
