@omgsidewalks I get both sides. Grace matters because life gets heavy. But grace without reciprocity becomes neglect with better branding. Distance happens, but friendships still need effort, initiation, and care from both sides. Needing people isn’t weakness, it’s human.

Adult friendships honestly require GRACE. People are actually very busy. People are HEALING. People are GROWING. People are taking time for SELF CARE just like you. Less communication isn't less love. Check in and don't check out.

When I tell you the best thing my parents could’ve done was take care of their health and finances. I am ok I grew up with the parents that told me No bc they were being fiscally responsible and a prude to their health. Don’t take those 2 things for granted!
