Lol in 2001 I was in a horror film. My only copy is on VHS. My last VCR ate a tape so I was afraid to try watching this one. The other day I found a VCR at FindYEG and now I get to watch the movie. 5 min in and fuck this is awful 😂😂😂😂

@kjeld264 By Harm? I haven't done anything in Ruby for probably 15 years, but it would be in VS Code today. If I used it wlat work, then probably Ruby Mine. I haven't tried cursor yet, I think I'll have to give it a shot.

It's wild to think that a code editors integration with AI, Agents, and MCP could be the deciding factor of people use it. In my opinion PhpStorm is a better experience than VsCode. But AI integrations seem to be a lot more natural and polished in VS Code.

@kjeld264 Provide value and performance. Maybe an IDE that can handle multiple languages. I know that VS Cde is popular because you could pop between Ruby, PHP, and Python. I'd need 3 different IDEs 😂 But I suppose that's an argument for generalized coverage and specialization.

I don't buy many cars, and I keep about half the cars I ever do buy. Still have my first. But sometimes you let one go that you wish you had back a little, and the E38 750iL V12 is among them. The interior would be dated today, but to me the styling on this car demolishes anything BMW makes today. Or since Bangle, for that matter.

if you committed this to a codebase i worked in, i would do everything in my power to replace this with a couple asserts and see to it you leave my team please for the future you do not commit code you don't understand

ceiling is being raised. cursor's copilot helped us write "superhuman code" for a critical feature. We can read this code, but VERY few engineers out there could write it from scratch. Took lots of convincing too. "come on, this must be possible, try harder". and obviously- done in parts.
