Worldwide, EVERYDAY, 1095 children are diagnosed. Instead of calling kids' cancer "rare," everyone should call it a "priority." Call attention to #ChildhoodCancer by using facts like this. Plenty are available to use here: cac2.org/.../aware.../c…@cac2org@HappyQuailPress
@border_minstrel@Ocado@waitrose Depends if Waitrose uses same depot as Ocado as there has been a fire nearby and all local
businesses have had to evacuate
@Ocado Our delivery has now been cancelled twice with no explanation. Is it safe to re book for later in the week, or should I give up and try @waitrose instead?
Oddly, for me, I have very few words! Gratitude to @lisamarkwell and @Telegraph to be given a platform to share Neve and our story. Sadness not to be able to tell Neve. A mix of bittersweet emotions. telegraph.co.uk/family/parenti… My hope is that reading my words can help

@BBCNews You should not have put that video up of the child talking about her friend who died ! The parent shouldn’t have allowed it either … not appropriate
@shitscaredmum@GracieNuttall41 I was at the Edinburgh show
last night. 3 years of back and forth to hospital with H in car and in charge of the music meant I had a pretty good handle on the lyrics. It was fab I hope
you and G enjoy x
Quite excited as we've been contacted by @bbc5live for a interview about Charlotte and the charity set up in her name. Hopefully we are getting the message out there: we may be small but we are making a difference to research in brain tumours.
The big difference with our charity is that we self fund. This means that 100% of your donation goes to research at King's College Hospital, London. We have no salaries, no overheads, no advertising, no merchandise. We have no quirky gimmicks to draw you in, just the story of a wonderful and incredibly brave young woman. We pay our own expenses, including PayPal fees & PO Box fees. If you want to donate to a charity, please think of us.
Charlotte, you will never be another brain tumour statistic, you will change things. My daughter Charlotte 18.2.1997 - 24.2.2016 RIP
Our summary of the process over the past five years.
Have a look at the developer's presentation boards and let us know what you think. theayleshamcentre.community/wp-content/upl….
@bbc5live Jenny Bond a disgrace. Referred to bowel & bladder cancers as embarrassing & then says ‘everyone I know with cancer is fine’. Many people not fine Jenny. Cancer is top killer of children by disease in UK. Families crushed daily. World Cancer Day yesterday. #fuckcancer
@ThanksCancer@Jaylee2076 The vax thing is rife. Even tho my daughter got cancer pre covid vax have been told me having it caused her cancer. You need a thick skin to get through this. Beat wishes to her
@Jaylee2076 She also has heard it’s from her covid vaccine 🤦🏻♀️ I think she’s having a rough entry to cancerland, but I’ll make sure she sees this thread.
From the TC mailbag: friend diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer with brain Mets. She used to work in adult entertainment so lots of people telling her that she got it from her lifestyle.
Anyone similar dx willing to chat with her about managing her emotions and what to expect?
Some words from the heart around the language used when someone tragically takes their own life 💔 63 years ago, The Suicide Act 1961 says that suicide is no longer a criminal act. Please read more here 👉🏼papyrus-uk.org/breaking-the-s…#SuicidePrevention#MentalHealthMatters
So apparently no one has been successful in bringing a case against a hosp for starting EOL drugs & denying IV fluids & placing a DNR w/out discussion. Why is no one concerned that a Dr can withdraw treatment with patient consent but doesn’t have to listen if they want treatment
