Christmas eve flight cancelled, plane changed for a smaller one - too bad they loaded all of our bags and christmas gifts and sent them to South Carolina and left us stranded at the airport with no car seats, a 4 year old, and a 1 year old. @SouthwestAir

@kkpIDRx @ASP_Chat I think antibiograms are too complicated when we show people. We need to consider repackaging pieces into marketing messages. Like a slew of posters each with one single factoid. MRSA rate. VRE rate. CRE. Use those Healing Blade graphics or something. #ASPchat

Also important to control for different methodologies. Are the AST using updated breakpoints? Need to validate the data to make sure you are adding the right apples together. Also challenging if you have different patient populations and acuity. #ASPchat

@IDstewardship Regional antibiograms are only as good as the hospitals/clinics/labs that participate! Need to recruit as many as possible! Being thoughtful in how we compile to ensure the results truly reflect something clinically useful to the audience #ASPChat

@kkpIDRx @IDstewardship We also use a central provincial repository of laboratory data with rule and model based imputation. So there's more consistency and less missing data compared to compiling disparate data across hospitals and community settings #ASPchat
