Over the weekend the Plymouth Police Department announced that Officer Samantha Perline was placed on unpaid leave and was under investigation by the State Police. It was not disclosed why. I’m not a cop lover but this is disgraceful! Once you start setting the precedent of charging officers for doing their job you run the risk of officers hesitating in situations where timing is everything.
