As excited as I am for Optimus, I’m disappointed in the loss of Tesla Model S and X. @elonmusk, it’s important to have a flagship car in the fleet. Something for enthusiasts to crave and collect. Premium cars. Surely there is a better alternative for Optimus production facility!

I can build the entire Linux kernel in 18 seconds, so the days of going out for a leisurely smoke while your two-pass assembler runs should be long past!

I don't like slow compile times. And I think people under-estimate the productivity kill you get when compiling a model (or source code) goes from a few seconds to a minute or longer. The difference between a fast, tight debugging loop and hopping on x in-between each run (as I am doing now) is quite large. This is probably the thing I like least about where modern DL frameworks have gone in the past few years.
