@coldtusker @AmbokoJH Those stats need to be rechecked.The old metre gauge has a far lower loading capacity than SGR.In a trip to Mombasa on SGR I noted a stalled engine on the old rail at Mtito Andei with far fewer goods wagons than typical SGR goods train. @knbs @KenyaRailways_

@knbs and other agencies are just peddling hearsay most of the times ,a person who is not in Kenya will think were in prosperous thriving ..Unbeknown to them were choking with debt and taxes .The inflation in the country is in double digits soon to hit over 100%

Guys, IMO, it's now safe to conclude that GoK stats on economy are largely, artistry & abracadabra magic. Stats on inflation, GDP growth, job growth, debts, educ transition, projects viability, KMs of roads tarmacked...have no relations with reality. It's a political narrative.
