@MartinSLewis What gets me about all of this is how in this case 20k is to be cut.
20k today is not yesterday's 20k. It should at least be increased with inflation after several years.
Same with inheritance tax exemption.
Why is this not highlighted and spoken about?

@BitcoinRachy Forget about Bitcoin for now. Tell him to go down the rabbit hole asking the question.
What is MONEY?
Bitcoin should naturally follow on. BUT only if he actually learns about Money.

I am not in the same situation but thankfully parents, siblings and a handful of friends listened. The rest are still numb to educating and would rather the struggle then spend a few hours to understand.
We choose our paths after a certain age.
It's not on you. You prob tried, tried and tried again.

Watching family members financially struggle when they know you're sitting on a small fortune of #Bitcoin has probably been the hardest part of hodling for me.
They've never asked me for help because they know why I'm not selling any, and they also know they ignored my financial advice to buy Bitcoin for years, but it's still tough, really tough.
I find out through my siblings just how bad off my parents both are individually, they won't tell me themselves because they don't want me to feel obligated to help.
It's been especially rough for me this cycle knowing that I have the money to make all their problems go away but I can't sell right before we go parabolic, I worked too hard to get this far and I'm not cashing out right before the rocket blasts off.
I constantly feel selfish for this even though I know I didn't make their bad financial decisions for them.
I plan on helping them out down the road but this just isn't the right time.
Am I the only one struggling with this?
It's a feeling I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy and lately I constantly feel like I'm on the verge of crying over it...

@GaryGensler @SECGov It is very concerning how your passionate MIT lectures were contradicted when you came to the SEC. Your stance on ETH for example.
Your affiliation with FTX, and Sam BF gave the ENTIRE industry trust in a scam.
It is deeply worring that there were no repercussions to the SEC.

@damonimani @elonmusk Uk I see Harris at the top if Trump Rally is googled.
Google Harris Rally and you see no Trump at the top.
Duck duck go renders more accurate results

@elonmusk Google Denmark gives accurate results.
They’re only doing it in U.S.
Makes the election interference even more obvious.

@MartinSLewis Why we accept inflation should exist? Why is the target "official target of 2% of hard earned money "stolen". Why is the government's basket of measurement always changed? It is actually way more than whatever the official figure is.
Why do we allow such gaslighting?

TELL US: What’s the biggest personal financial mis-understanding you’ve ever had. What'd you got confused? Did it have an impact? Do tell us the story of what happened.
Please reply for my podcast on Wed, and the producers will pick some to read out. And do like your faves.
PS This isn't about making political points about voting etc, its about practical consumer finance issues, others can learn from.
