Southern Baptists take membership more seriously in our churches than we did we years ago. And our seminaries teach good ecclesiology. The two numbers are related.

A couple of years ago, I compared the change in seminary students to the change in membership in a bunch of denominations. PCUSA had a 50% dip in members and a 55% drop in seminarians. One outlier? The Southern Baptist Convention. Members are down 16% Seminarians up 14%.

Liberty Football has had plenty of success, even before the Fiesta Bowl season. 2020 in particular was electric. Led by Malik Willis, the Flames only loss was a 1 point loss at NC State. They had wins at Syracuse, at Virginia Tech, and an unbelievable Cure Bowl win vs Coastal Carolina. Jeff Yarbro (D-Teacher Unions) is spreading propaganda to give the false impression that TN's schools are failing. This is absolutely untrue. • TN has 2nd highest graduation rate in the country. • TN ranked 3rd in math recovery and 9th in reading recovery nationally after Covid. • 459 TN schools earned the "Reward" status for exceptional academic performance or improvement. When public employee unions don't control your schools, the schools are more efficient with taxpayer money, and students succeed at greater levels. Thank you @GovBillLee @tnhousegop @tnsenategop for making education and parental choice top policy priorities.
