The previous government spent almost Ghc 4 billion on Agenda 111, no dedicated source of funding and couldn’t complete even a single one.

The rationale behind the suspension raises questions. If the Ashanti Regional Minister visited KATH, acknowledged the bed-space challenges and announced measures to ease the pressure, was the CEO suspended because the information was inaccurate or because it was communicated publicly?
And how does the latter warrant a two-week suspension?
If the situation was serious enough to require government intervention, why was it inappropriate to inform the public in the first place?
Is this not a matter of public interest and public policy?
