Right now, they’re focused on optimizing the console versions, fixing bugs, and completing all the mechanics. Their main focus fow now is the controller experience.

Every time I see news about GTA VI it’s always about employees complaining. Rockstar game developers have to be the biggest crybabies in the world.

@TheRooster Crunch before release is pretty common, especially for a game like GTA VI. It was expected, even by the devs. Delays cost Take-Two millions that’s just the harsh reality of game dev. They had 8 years of relatively calm work, but the last 6 months are always the most intense.

Some stuff is likely getting scrapped right now just so the game can hit Take-Two's November deadline. @playb0y4L That’s true, eyes can adapt to frame rate very quickly. When I played RDR2 on console, still enjoyed it at 30 FPS. I usually play at 60+ FPS games. When I have to switch to 30 FPS, it feels okay after about 1–3 hours, but then I can’t go back to anything above 30 FPS afterward.

30 FPS really isn’t the disaster people make it out to be. Yeah, 60 FPS is smoother no argument there. But acting like 30 FPS is unplayable is over the top. If you’ve been gaming for a while, your eyes adjust quickly. Give it 20–30 minutes and it starts to feel normal again. GTA V is a perfect example. It ran at 30 FPS on consoles for years, and nobody was up in arms. People were immersed and having fun, not counting frames. When 60 FPS became an option, it was a nice upgrade, but it didn’t make the original experience “bad.” A lot comes down to what you’re used to. Constantly switching between 30 and 60 makes the difference more noticeable, but sticking with 30 for a while makes it feel standard. At the end of the day, a stable 30 FPS with great visuals, dense worlds, and solid gameplay beats an unstable higher frame rate. Consistency matters more than extra smoothness, and for a game like GTA 6 pushing insane detail, 30 FPS is a reasonable trade-off.

@SynthPotato I think Warhorse has taken a break from KCD and is working on a smaller game and a different brand, so Dan made a change for him for a while. If there is ever a KCD 3, he will focus on that again.
