@tayvishazetoo Don't forget saying outrageous, hateful things has a monetary value for verified twitter users. The harsher the "criticism" the more they get sane people trying to correct their views. There is no disincentive to be nice when being hateful online pays so well.

Social media has taught people to find something wrong in everything & to always be mad or offended about something. So when they see a genuinely kind & successful couple together, they immediately start looking for “reasons” to hate them. One thing i really love about Taylor & Travis though is that they continue living their lives completely unbothered. The way people reacted to them in person at the Cavs game is a much better reflection of how most people actually view them than the cesspool that is the internet… mainly twitter.
