I don’t understand the “shut Steph down” crowd IF he’s healthy anytime in the next week or so. If they win two play-in games which is very possible they clinch a playoff spot. Who wouldn’t wanna see 30 in another playoff series. We get to see how Steph x Porzingis would look on the court together. Also, i’m never counting Steph out of a playoff series, even if it’s against the Thunder. Also, some of the younger rotation players would get priceless playoff experience. This is why these guys play a long grueling season, to get to the postseason. If he isn’t fully healthy then I completely understand and agree with shutting him down BUT that isn’t where we’re at as of today.

Which is the whole paradox of LLMs. They can do some remarkable things, but the harder and more precise the task, the more manual babysitting you end up doing anyway. Sometimes that math works out, but is very context specific

Being unwilling to use LLMs in your academic work simply means that you believe your work is without value. Why study it, then? And more importantly — why should the working class fund your leisure?

So you're limited to onboard, which is infinitely harder to make smart, cheap and coordinate well. Not to mention safety concerns regarding autonomous weapons in general

I think you’d see less frustration among warrior fans if they felt like there was a legitimate acknowledgment of the issues. The two timeline plan caused, how it ruined the behalf of Steph’s career where he was still phenomenal, maybe public facing changes to acknowledge.

@elpeezey @samesfandiari But every time they took way too long to adjust is the issue. They could have traded JK when he still had value, Wiggins drama went on for like 2 years, without punch they still would have had a Klay/Poole issue they would also have taken too long to pick a direction on.

@samesfandiari Yeah it’s hard. But when you miss on lottery picks that’s the result. Hindsight is 20/20 but can’t dodge that fact. Also a lot of misfortune happened after ‘22. Poole/Draymond, Wiggins off court stuff, Steph injured last year, Butler this year. But if that’s the price for 4 🤷‍♂️

They've been and continue to be afraid to invest any assets at all in prime, healthy, difference making players. This is what happens

ACES itself doesn't make the highlights or anything else look any certain way. It's the end transformation that matters

For me its just a color space, not a "look", so I'm curious how or why Unreal is using it in an undesirable way. I suspect something is not implemented properly or requires some additional setup? I might have to look at it

We replaced Unreal's standard ACES tone mapping with AgX and can finally achieve the grim and rainy lighting atmosphere we were aiming for. The constant battle against unnatural colors, washed-out highlights, and crushed blacks, especially in forests, is finally over!

Huge reason Warriors fans support Kerr’s awful handling of JK is because they believe (with zero evidence) that Steph’s complicit. This despite the fact Steph publicly said just 8 months ago team wouldn’t win a 5th title without JK. Here’s Steph publicly supporting JK. Again.

I never thought they would get Giannis. Wanted to believe, but was skeptical. I'm ok with it, because they can move on. @samesfandiari Yes but weren’t those deals to get Bradley Beal or siakam and you have to trade money out so most likely Wiggins. Trade the picks I get that but with what salary you pairing it with. Unless Steph was willing to trade dray or klay … and they ended up trading Wiggins for butler.
