@officialzilf one of my cousins lived with his mum till he was near 35 and that was in the 90's I on the otherhand was on my own from the age of 17 and it was tough also its only western society that sees shame in living with your parents as soon as you become an adult.

I'm sorry but there is absolutely nothing wrong with living with your parents in your mid to late 20s, especially in today's economy.

but probably a little bit of pettyness still plays into it. hard to truly understand your own motivations. i do score really low on scientific measures of pettyness tho (machavellianism). like bottom 5%. but i think that speaks more about pettyness of the avg person than my own

I have this habit of just hanging up the phone or walking away from the counter in the middle of a customer service conversation, when i feel like it's not going anywhere. not out of pettyness, just energy conservation. still comes off as rude sometimes tho, unfortunately
