Why have NFC based payments and verification on phone not found traction in India? Most people are not even aware if their phones are NFC-enabled.

@Areen_886 Instead - spend time and effort in developing the vast young population of India and super charge next wave of economic growth

@Areen_886 The total fertility rate of India is 2 and fast declining. In simple terms - on average a woman is birthing just 2 kids. Population growth in India is already solved. We are growing at just 1% annual rate You don't need to spend any admin effort to reduce it further.

The best way to reduce #freebies & #population in India 👇 Pass a Bill where anyone with more than 2 childrens won’t get the benefits of Freebies. This should be the basic terms & conditions for having freebies. What do you think? 💭

@ValueWithPrem And ? The same thing happened to me 25 years ago when I went out to buy milk. I was 10. Bone in leg broke in half, on bed for 4 months and couldn't play sport for 1 year. Will you keep your kids at home all the time?

@nithinkd We need to adopt the concept of fast and slow trains on the same routes. Some lines of Delhi metro are now 50kms+ and lack of express trains is showing up.

I am actively trying to discourage every human I know from exactly this approach to engineering. This project does ‘this’.. so let’s make it that does ‘that’ as well. End result. Neither this nor that is great. It may end up good. It will definitely not be great.

Haryana CM Saini has approved Gurugram Noida RRTS. Seems like some change in plan as now it will have RRTS cum metro system and will have 18 stations as opposed to 5 earlier tribuneindia.com/news/haryana/g…

@rg_gupta92 Exactly this. People aren't able to afford a house in city with two incomes at age of 35. Why would they even think of kids. The security of own home will lead them to have kids. It isn't rocket science.

@ajjuz I do understand. That's why I don't own a diesel creta. What's the point of comparing a diesel car with a kid? For majority of those DINKs, comparison isn't about car or kid. It's about home vs kid. Now ask your AI to compare that.

@kroptinite The annual car insurance for you SUV can pay for multiple picnics of your kids. You don't understand how badly a vehicle sucks into your income. Cost of owning a Diesel Creta for 5 years vs Child's education.

For all those who say it is expensive to raise kids. It is far more expensive to own a diesel SUV and change it every 5 years than to pay for LKG till MTech for 2 kids. It would be better to move to a place with good public transport and not own a vehicle and raise 2 kids.

@dmuthuk Please tell this couple how to downsize? 1000sqft is already not big enough space. They are already living 30km away from office so would end up spending 3hours daily to travel to/from work. I am all ears what's the solution?

@dmuthuk In Delhi, in a decent neighbourhood (30kms away from gurgaon office), 1000sqft - 3BHK costs 2cr. If a bank agrees to finance 1.8cr, the couple will end up paying 1.3L/m emi for next 30 years. The couple and kid will just "survive" if 50% of income is gone towards home EMI.

To have kids or not is a couple's choice. But citing 'only' Rs.36 lakhs income per annum as the reason for not having kids sounds absurd. You are already in top 1% of India in terms of income. How much more you need to have a kid? From size and locality of the house to more expensive schools, the quest is never ending. Settle for a house and school affordable to your income. If Rs 36 lakhs income prevents you from having a kid, applying that yardstick almost no one can have kids in India. Now personal finance posts are becoming more and more unrealistic.

Always check for CAMERAS in Hotel Rooms 🤯 Thanks to Jubin Nautiyal and T-Series, a newlywed couple's life was saved from being ruined. After their wedding, a couple came to Delhi for a trip and stayed in a 4-star hotel. There was a hidden camera in the room that recorded their videos. The people who installed the camera even uploaded the video to the internet. The police arrived, the couple was crying their eyes out, everyone was distressed. That couple had played a Jubin Nautiyal song in their room, which was also in the video. Because of that, as soon as it was uploaded online, T-Series filed a strike on the video within minutes, which saved the couple’s life. Some strikes are good 🤭

@nithinkd New fleet is good. I just hope DTC is working to increase ridership. They really should provide bus's location to public in real time so that people can rely on them. I see empty buses and e-rick carrying 5 people on same road.

1500 of Delhi’s now majority electric bus fleet (4500 Ebuses /6300 total) is going to have its first big test in the next two months. We already have 1500 buses that has seen two summers. And another 1500 that has seen two. Fantastic vehicles these.

A silent pandemic is underway in Indian cities. Far too many couples are opting to not have kids at all. It is the wrong decision. Most will regret it.
