When we dip into systemic shifts and provide the time and space for educators to share their practices that warm up the nervous system we need to add "Walk Throughs" that give permission for these practices inside our procedures, routines, and exits! #education #educators

@CraigSetzer Sitting on the south shore of #NovaScotia looking at the models and thinking the chances are pretty good it's going to have significant impact... time to get ready! #hurricanelee Watching closely!

The models seem to be doing a pretty good job with a fairly complex pattern. Of course we won't know for sure until after it all happens, but the run to run & model to model consistency is fairly high right now.
Several steering features will be in play over the next week or so. First trough misses Lee, second trough also misses but a weak blocking high builds near Lee slowing it down. Then the third trough comes along and lifts Lee northward. Details on that third trough are still uncertain because it's a ways out on the timeline.
One thing is certain, this is all going to be a very slow process. We will not have specific landfall implications (if they do occur) for many days yet.

This week, we’re exploring the importance of serve & return interactions. A serve and return interaction is when an infant or young child babbles, gestures, or cries, and an adult responds with eye contact, words, or a hug.

🤣 Do you remember this adorable video from a few years ago featuring @ComedianDJPryor "chatting" with his son? It’s one of our favorites because it is a great example of a serve & return interaction.
