So Facebook is deleting one billion facial recognition scans, but it's keeping DeepFace, the model that is trained on all those faces. Note that "the company has also not ruled out incorporating facial recognition into future products." Very meta. 👀

Philadelphia is prioritizing ppl with underlying conditions (including cancer patients), also food prep, grocery, transportation workers. But there isn’t currently enough vaccine available to meet demand.

Does anyone know how to get a message to @FLOTUS? I’m sure she would help make sure cancer patients are prioritized for Covid vaccines if she knew we are being left behind despite having mortality rate of 15-30%, which is ~ those 80+.
