@jonfavs, gotta disagree with you on @PodSaveAmerica about #TrumpDecline not mattering. No, he's not running for re-election and no, there's no 25th ouster coming either. But the problem is not just that he is President - it's that he is in charge. [1/2]

The key is that the time zone boundaries are fundamentally flawed and any solution that doesn't allow for fixing the boundaries will be met with jusified tesistance. Jon's suggestion seems like a clever way to get the most people to agree on at least the first step forward.

@carlosodio @PodSaveAmerica Fair point. I'm more hung up on the distinction between reality and fiction in the world at large but I see your point about the information silos about the reality of the world and how that results in votes.

@kt_bos @PodSaveAmerica That reality is disconnected from facts as relates Trump specifically. But if we don’t acknowledge that we are also getting filtered facts, and consuming some fictions, then we will continue to be surprised by election results.

@itscjonair, my take was that Allred was being really clever about his wording. He didn't say he was against trans athletes - he said he was against the kind of thing Cruz's ad was showing. That kind of careful wording is what you need to do in politics these days.

@MaryLTrump Maybe that's a way to actually break through the cult hold Donald has over them. So I don't see it as Schadenfreude; I see it as sanity starting a comeback.

It's understandable to feel a bit of Schadenfreude over the catastrophic implosion of Trump Media stock but think about all of the people who are losing real money because they believed the myth that Donald the grifter is a business genius.

@gtconway3d Somebody with the tech ability needs to do a deep fake of Biden saying what Trump said and then part way through the video have it swipe to the real video of Trump so that people can see that if the gibberish were coming out of anyone other than Trump, it would end their career.
