@caron_1_1 @clappymonkey They are putting me on morphine for pain management as been managing my own pain with crap I was given months ago! I don’t like it, but I can’t stand the pain and the oil isn’t helping. I was off it for a while. Will go back on it once I know how these drugs work

Aaaaaaand... Just had a massive row that resulted in door slamming and being told what an awful person I am... Cancer is beginning to fucking piss me off now

As is typical of our luck right now, some good news was met with bad as my father in law died this morning way too young just 63 years old and unexpected. RIP Michael we will never forget you. ❤️

WTF is wrong with my oncology team??? Macmillan nurse just called after my phone call from the oncologist telling me there is nothing else they can do. Said to her I wasn't happy with how I was told over the phone with no explanation. I joked, I just don't don't want to drop dead

@ktg_blake @theviewfromher @macmillancancer My colorectal nurse was shocking.when I rang for support, v anxious, stage 3 bowel ca with node involvement she said well what’s your worst case scenario. I mean WTAF is everyone’s?

@juliesmithb @welliesnseaweed I did that and it’s a slippery slope to despair! Get that lippy on tomorrow, dress up and show yourself who’s boss!

@welliesnseaweed My hair was growing back then latest chemo has caused it to 'thin' again. I've found I lost confidence and also don't bother with makeup etc because I can't see the point when I look so rubbish anyway. I never used to leave the house without mascara and some lipstick on.

A big thank you to all my messages left by you lovely people! I’m getting through them. Had a good day today. My friend came over & took me out for a walk, helped me de-bloat & wrote a list of Q&A for each medic I’m seeing this week. True friends are magical🧚‍♀️💝#bowelcancer

@Debs4Dennis @CrazyCancerLady @ktg_blake My sister also found Macmillan no help apart from with filling out her disability allowance form at diagnosis. They were great with that but thereonin when the going got tough the people she met just didn’t seem to empathise or be able to offer the support she so needed.

@ktg_blake Glad to hear it. Yeah, I can well understand why and wish you luck with finding a sensible replacement. I'm sorry you have had to put up with their bullshit but hopefully next week is a better one
