honestly every day I feel worse and worse about having significant money in cs2 skins
the level of incompetence is mind blowing regarding ban handling. people have proved that there is no way to get bans removed unless cause uproar on social media, steam support literally just don’t have the ability to remove them.
It’s only a PR issue to valve, not ethical
valve created this billion dollar skin economy, profit $1b+ from it yearly. fans spend their hard earned money on skins, bringing valve more $, then V don’t even have the decency to explain steam bans or even double-check they were deserved. it’s gross honestly
it wouldnt even make a dent in their profit, I think they simply do not care if they delete their fans money / ruin someone financially

🚨 Community, we need your help. After responsibly reporting a trade protection exploit/bug through Steam support and other channels, Valve even asked us directly for details. We provided info, including the SteamIDs of the 2 accounts used to reproduce the bug. A day later, both accounts were trade-banned, even after Valve confirmed they could see the issue on their end. We strongly believe this was an automated limitation tied to the exploit rather than a manual ban. We never abused the bug, never leaked details, and even warned other platforms that they were at risk. After the exploit was fixed on Steam’s side, we tried reaching out again for help through every possible channel. The only response we received was a generic template from Steam support, followed by complete silence elsewhere. We’re not asking for special treatment, recognition, or drama. We just don’t want to be punished for reporting responsibly and trying to keep the community safe. As we all know, the only way to get Valve’s attention these days is through the community and social networks. Please reply or repost so maybe together we can finally be heard.

Fuck Twitch, seriously. Cheating shouldn't be classified as "low severity". This is the biggest middle finger to video game developers I've seen from Twitch.
Cheating undermines the integrity of all gaming communities, your community. Streamers should be held accountable for cheating, this is a small slap on the wrists.
