Excited to share our new publication, out today in Nature! nature.com/articles/s41 I am grateful for our wonderful collaborators and the lab. We show that a common gut fungus enhances Salmonella infection by driving arginine release, uncovering a new cross-kingdom mechanism.

I’m honored and excited to share that I’ve been appointed Assistant Professor at the University of the Ozarks starting Fall 2025. After years of focusing on research, I look forward to continuing my work while embracing this new role. ozarks.edu/news/tiwari-na…

@SRonneau I used BioscreenC for 6 years. It's pretty robust and good. It can hold two plates at a time and with some accessories it may be used for microaerophilic conditions as well.

Hey microbiologists! I'm looking to buy a plate reader for bacterial growth (37°C, 24H with shaking, plates with lid). Any good (affordable and robust) alternatives to Tecan? Suggestions welcome!

My heart is broken as I announce the passing of my beloved husband, science partner and friend, Michael Sheetz. A remarkable scientist we packed 40 years of living into 20. Rejuvenation of senescent cells and mice in Press in Aging Cell; his last words were this was his best work

Thrilled to put this super exciting story, on GPR155, together with @AppuKSingh_IITK, @Mansi_Sharma9 and rest of the twitterless team members. Thanks to @THSTIFaridabad and @serbonline (#ANRF) for funding and support

Excited to share our preprint on the structure of human lysosomal transceptor GPR155, revealing its ability to transport auxin. Fantastic collaboration with Shikha Singh @ShikhaS4858 and a great achievement by a Ph.D. student Mansi Sharma @Mansi_Sharma9 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

@airindia @airindia Why are you making us fool, first you have asked to cancel my daughters ticket as partial cancellation and booked a new ticket for her and then you have cancelled that as well. And asked us to book whole new booking. (1/2)

Been sitting on this for some but am very happy to announce that, indeed, we'll continue to crack bacterial biofilm matrix secretion under our ERC CoG BacFilm🤓. Many thanks to involved LS1 panel & reviewers for appreciating our project and recommending it for funding, respect🩷

If you’re choosing a research group to join, pay just as much - if not more - attention to the culture and mentoring style in the group than the research. You can succeed in lots of research areas or projects, but it’s tough to succeed in an unsupportive environment.
