So my daughter had a test and asked her teacher if she was going to grade them over the weekend so she could know her grade on Monday. Her teachers reply “I’m not spending my weekend grading papers.” Okay then.. moving forward my children will not spending their after school hours doing hours of homework. They will not spending their weekend working on projects. They can do that during school time then.

@KenCarman Sadly Mobley is getting traded in the offseason. Cavs will underperform in the playoffs and will be desperate for Giannis. Fast forward two years and we will be trying to figure out how to best navigate the new tanking rules.

The solution to March Madness isn’t expansion it is REDUCTION. We need to get rid of automatic qualifiers, ESPECIALLY with NIL. There is NO CHANCE that Long Island and Prairie View make deeper runs than Auburn or Oklahoma would.

@VolHendrix It's pretty much widely accepted that Coop is already a top 30 player, and he was on a 1 seed team with four other NBA players. Tell me a top ten player that can do it with accountants, I can think of maybe 2.

People keep saying that a 16 seed would win March Madness if they had 1 NBA player on their roster. People forget that Kon Kneupel and Cooper Flagg were on the same team last year as a 1 seed and didn’t win it 😭

Some thoughts on the epic end of regulation in Kentucky-Santa Clara: 1. Herb Sendek was trying to call time out but the refs didn't see it. This is why I do NOT like the rule allowing coaches to call time out. Do you want refs looking at the bench or the court? That rule went away a few years ago but the coaches wanted it back. Get rid of it! 2. There's still some debate over whether fouling up three is the right strategy, but the evidence is quite clear. Fouling up three with under five seconds to play pretty much doubles your chances of avoiding overtime. No strategy is perfect but it is the right thing to do! 3. That said, it's hard to execute that in a scramble like in this case. Don't always assume the players know how many points they're up in that situation! Lots going on and they're not all totally locked in. Happens more than you think. So the question is what have you practiced for? What's your policy? They need to be properly trained for when the moment comes, whatever you decide. 4. At the end of the day, it was a crazy, halfcourt, banked in shot. Hoop happens! And so Otega Oweh shot himself forever into NCAA Tournament lore. Somewhere Cawood Ledford is smiling!

@JoeThompsows @SBUnfurled They appealed. NCAA granted Santa Clara the win. They also notified Iowa state that they have been eliminated and Santa Clara will move on to the Sweet Sixteen.

@SBUnfurled Santa Clara should try to appeal the game, Kentucky took 4 second to dribble down and shoot and got bailed out by the slow clock. Should’ve had to take a 3/4 court heave but got to shoot so much closer

Not only was Sendek signaling timeout after Santa Clara's made 3, but Oweh catches the ball and takes a dribble before the clock starts. Kentucky unbelievably lucky to escape that all-time end to regulation.

@NBA_NewYork For a mid major school these opportunities don’t come around super often. It’s pretty dumb to not let the kids take some memorabilia for what is likely a once in a lifetime experience for them
