Extremely tactical content alert: I know how you should test landing pages for Meta Ads. I have been totally uncertain of how to do this. So a couple weeks ago I asked X what to do. I got a lot of replies, but one person's stood out as the most thoughtful and most appealing: @brad_ploch. You know Brad the same way I do: he's an agency founder, the co-host of the Scalability School podcast (with @zachmstuck and @andrewfoxwell), and all around swell and helpful guy. So I invited him on the pod to walk me through how he's been doing this successfully for his brands (and he's showed me very clear evidence that he's been doing exactly that). Today I released the episode. And good news: the methodology is straightforward an easy to implement. You just have to do it. Do what I did: listen carefully, download the transcript, use AI to turn it into an SOP, then go build and test. Full ep ↓↓↓↓

Sorry but I have to jump in here The flaming Brian is getting in the comments here is wild Look, @herrmanndigital is a legend in the space, no doubt about that But I think people are reading this post completely wrong I believe David mostly is involved in media buying (correct me if I’m wrong) Brian is rightfully criticising the style of ads a lot of incumbent brands are running these days, that quite frankly just don’t work well anymore. Not criticising how David runs his clients accounts And yes, David gets to see a lot of spend so has a very good idea of the general landscape on how meta is performing right now But does that mean that other people can’t have cracked Meta right now? That not everything they are doing is working? No And in fact, it’s probably more useful to listen to the people that are swimming upstream, going against the current performance trends on meta and trying to understand what they are doing that’s letting them scale while others are stagnant or declining, rather than just accepting that most brands are down right now Pretty much all the alpha I’ve got in Ecom has been from the few, not the many I’d far rather be asking questions do someone who is at say $1m a month growing 200% MOM than someone doing $20m a month and declining Blindly dismissing someone because they challenge someone with a reputation or manages more spend than them is dangerous, that’s how ideas become stagnant and progress halts Gotta question everything, no matter who it comes from, keep adapting, keep finding the new alpha, challenge everything, test it yourself Like, go look through Brian’s posts. You will find and incredible amount of valuable content that I guarantee if you implement you will grow Listen to everyone. Take the meat and leave the bones. That’s what’s always worked for me

Only the killers are still doing well. Don't see any of my ad accounts having down turns. Too many ecom bros making AI doctor ads, AI UGC and crushing the old ecom dawgs that haven't really caught on with what is working with creatives and landers 🤣 they're still making hi-fi bof ads, basic offer statics and screenshots of customer reviews in 2026. R.I.P

Honest admission: we still ship from a China warehouse for our brand. Delivery takes 7-9 days. Do our customers complain about shipping? Not a lot. Here's why: we don't hide the delivery time. We don't oversell it. What kills brands isn't long shipping, it's customers who have no idea where their order is. We built a full shipment update flow in Wonderment. Even Skims shows 7 business days at checkout. Nobody really cares if you tell them upfront and keep them updated. I recorded a full walkthrough of our setup. Willing to share. Like + RT + comment "FLOW" and I'll DM it. Must be following.

If your hooks suck, your ads suck. Here's what we learned running $107M worth of hooks across every ad format: - There are formats that make drawing attention 10 TIMES easier - The right hook should draw attention from the RIGHT viewers - A small hook change can take an ad from $5k spent to $500k spent I broke down exactly how we build hooks that consistently hit above 45% hook rate: the 3 ingredients, the visual cues, the mistakes most brands make, and why format matters more than most people think. Want me to send it over? Like + comment “HOOKS” and I'll send it over ASAP (Must be following)

People keep asking for this and I've been sitting on it for a while. Here's my 50 founder ad swipe file - you can copy and rinse and repeat. Lot's of these are running at scale - lot's are just cool concepts and variations to give you ideas to test. Pulled it all together into one swipe file. P.S this is a working file so I will keep adding too it! Everytime I see a new banger I will add. Comment "SWIPE" and I'll send it over.

I interviewed all of the best creative strategists in the world. @binghott. @iamshackelford. @DenneyDara. @sourfraser. @MatthewGattozzi. @pkennedy93 @thedennis. @harrydelmege_. @heyitsalexP. (thank you so much guys, you're all the best) If you read this document you will be able to become, train, & hire the best advertiser/creative strategist in the world. I promise you that. Hiring and training creative strategists is one of the most expensive mistakes you can make if you get it wrong. So I asked the best in the world: what separates the ones who actually produce winners from everyone else. I wrote it all up in one doc. I put a lot of time into this and there literally 0 AI, just 14 pages of straight sauce. reply "STRAT" and I'll send it over.

The only negative thing a very small amount of people said about spike is that it was too sweet, and that's it (also some of them were using 1 sachet in a third of the recommended amount lol) But that's it. Everyone who tried spike has felt its effects on 1st sip.

built a spreadsheet that’s saved brands $2.4m in wasted ad spend it tracks the 8 metrics meta actually cares about not the 97 vanity metrics in ads manager what it shows you • true incremental ROAS (not platform BS) • creative fatigue score (exact kill points) • audience saturation before CPMs explode • attribution decay (where meta steals credit) 4 mins to set up. auto-updates from your pixel one furniture brand found 40% of “winning” ads were losing money cut them → reallocated spend → MER went 2.1 → 3.8 in 19 days if you’re spending $20k+/mo on meta without this you’re donating to zuckerberg COMMENT “METRICS” and I’ll DM it to you (must be following, sending manually)

I spent $100m and 6 years learning how to make meta ads And I collected all my learnings and put it into one giant guide. With this framework I was able to scale: -Ripley Rader to 8 figures in 12 months -Perfectwhitetee spent 500k just last month on our ads (see photo) -A luxury shower brand scaled to 10xd in one month to 8 figures. you follow what’s inside correctly. you get results. simple. inside the guide: → 10 rules every $1M+ ad follows → 3-second formula that stops scrolls → 8 psychological triggers that drive purchases → ad templates you can copy today → breakdowns of winning ads with £100M in learnings reply “$1M AD” and i’ll send it (follow first so i can dm you)

Here’s a literal plug and play copy tweak I started implementing recently into my ads and VSL that’s already getting insane results, especially in my outbound CTRs: Implied framing. Instead of trying to convince them of something (2-step conviction), simply switch the language to hinge on their existing nagging beliefs. Example: 2 step conviction: “dropshipping doesn’t work anymore” Implied framing: “you already know that dropshipping doesn’t work as well as the gurus claim it does.” 2- step conviction: “the cost to acquire a customer has doubled in the past 2 years” Implied framing: “everyone knows that it’s more expensive than ever to acquire a customer” / “you already know that ad costs are rising every single month.” I’m using this during the pain agitation and perceived solutions portion of my copy specifically. Such a simple fucking tweak but it works so well because of the underlying principle: When you make a claim, you must impart belief in the justifications of the claim AND the person delivering the claim. It’s always easier to justify the claim (deeper core, mechanism, catalyst, etc.) than it is to instill trust in the person delivering the claim. So if you you can simple remove yourself out of that equation you can do more with less effort. P.S. quiz funnel post and call booking funnel posts incoming

This one ad did $2,083,268.42 in spend. One base ad. 257 iterations. Still scaling. At the DTC Summit (thanks @johnhickey1970 ) I showed founders how we make 600+ ads a week. But every single one of them had the same question: “…but how do I make ONE good ad?” So I put it all in a free guide. The $1M Evergreen Ad Formula. It shows you: -How to make an amazing base ad -How to iterate the juice out of it + the exact ad we ran And the BEST part is you can execute this guide TODAY with your founder, an iPhone and a mic. Comment “1mil” and I’ll DM you the guide. (Just follow so I can message you.)

I've found what is causing this. It seems to be an issue with Sky Broadband's default DNS (which seems to be really bad with Shopify stores / Cloudfare traffic) perhaps something @Shopify or Cloudfare can talk to Sky about But for now easy fix is just changing your DNS settings if you've been one of the many effected (although this won't fix customers not being able to reach your website, at least you'll be able to see your own and others) If on Mac: Go to System Settings → Network → select your Wi-Fi → click Details → DNS tab. Change to: 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1 If on Windows: Go buy a Mac

@ashvinmelwani I've been getting a weird thing with lots of shopify domains lately when I try to visit the site I get an error saying no secure connection can be found. Only happens when I'm using Wifi, if I switch to mobile data it's fine. Seems to only be happening with shopify stores

Testing a new creative strategy rn… and it’s fucking printing 4-5x ROAS over the last 5 days on about 2k/day spend. So I created a step-by-step SOP on how to plug this creative strategy right into your biz. Comment “CREATIVE” and I’ll send it. 👇
