The Oklahoma City Thunder will not visit the White House during their trip to Washington, D.C., this weekend, a team spokesperson confirmed to The Athletic.
A team spokesperson cited a “timing issue” that prevented the 2024-25 NBA champions from making the traditional visit.
The spokesperson confirmed there were discussions about celebrating the team’s title, but the visit ultimately did not happen.

The best is the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The NCAA made players on the bench sit 6 feet apart and wear masks…but the best part is when they subbed into the game they became immune to disease and could interact. 🤣🤣🤣

I totally get the reasoning for policing celebrations/taunts. I dare say, it’s needed more than the average fan probably wants to admit.
