Robotics has always been about systems all the way down! I do appreciate RSS for having the foresight of creating systems track and best systems paper awards! Proudly published all of my PhD works on @RoboticsSciSys

Our RA-L paper, in collaboration with Prof. Loianno’s @loiannog group, was selected as an Editors’ Choice in Science Robotics: science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… A step forward for Embodied Intelligence in quadrotors: how physical design and control can work to enhance resilience/safety.

ManiFeel is a benchmark for contact-rich manipulation tasks. Force- and tactile-based tasks with occlusions and partially-observable state are going to be crucial for true general purpose robotics. Website: zhengtongxu.github.io/manifeel-websi…

Robots excel at learning motions from humans, but can they also learn to apply force safely? 💪 Introducing UMI-FT: the UMI gripper equipped with force/torque sensors (CoinFT) on each finger. Multimodal data from UMI-FT, combined with diffusion policy and compliance control, enables robots to apply sufficient yet safe force for task completion. Merry Christmas from Ho Lab! Wishing you a warm and cozy holiday season.

📢We are presenting 2 papers at @IROS2025 this week on: 1) Multimodal sensing for soft fingers (RA-L paper) 2) Embodied intelligence for vibration-based mobile soft robots (T-RO paper) Join us on this Wednesday afternoon sessions!
