@MarkReid42 As an immigrant, what benefits? I got given precisely NOTHING. If you mean refugees, please say refugees. People fleeing a life or country need compassion, and yeah, money to start again. Regular immigrants get nothing like that.

@SpencerHakimian IMO It's going to be cheaper, for the average iPhone user, to pay the 25% tariffs. Manufacturing them in the USA, they'll cost 3 times that if not more.

Just so I’m fully understanding. If Apple makes an iPhone in India to sell in New York, it gets a 25% penalty charged. But if Samsung makes a Galaxy in South Korea to sell in New York, it gets a 10% penalty charged? So we’re giving a 15% price advantage to foreign companies? And this is to Make America Great Again?

@bruce_barrett Because he took the tariffs of things Canada NEEDS. Not it's WANTS. Canada doesn't need juice from the USA, there are other countries that produce it. The tariffs were removed from packaging, from auto parts etc, that can't be sourced easily from elsewhere.

So if Mark Carney dropped retaliatory Tariffs secretly a month ago during the campaign, explain why this is in Canadian Grocery stores.
