Zionism an inherently violent and terroristic movement for colonizing Palestine through the theft of Palestinian lands and ethnic cleansing for a settler colony

A coup (short for “coup d’état”) is the sudden, illegal seizure of political power—usually by a small group inside the state (military officers, security forces, or political elites). While every case differs, coups tend to follow a recognizable pattern. 1. Preconditions (Why coups become possible) Coups rarely happen in stable systems. Common enabling conditions include: Weak or divided leadership Economic crisis or public unrest Loss of legitimacy (e.g., disputed elections, corruption scandals) Factionalism within the military or ruling elite Poor civilian control over the military These conditions create an opening where insiders believe they can take power with limited resistance. 2. Conspiracy & Planning Phase A small group—often senior military officers or security officials—begins planning: Build a coalition (key generals, intelligence leaders, political allies) Secure loyal units (elite forces, presidential guards, air force, etc.) Identify critical targets Maintain secrecy (too many participants = higher risk of failure) At this stage, timing is everything—plotters often wait for a moment of maximum weakness. 3. Trigger Event Coups are often launched in response to a specific moment: Political crisis (e.g., protests, election disputes) Leadership absence or illness Anticipated purge of military leaders External shock (war, economic collapse) The trigger creates urgency and justification. 4. Execution Phase (The “Seizure”) This is the most visible part and usually happens very quickly—often within hours. Key actions include: Control of Physical Power Centers Presidential palace / executive offices Military headquarters Airports, borders, and transportation hubs Neutralize Leadership Arrest, detain, exile, or kill the head of state and key officials Control Communications State TV, radio, and increasingly internet/social media Prevent counter-orders from loyalists Show of Force Tanks, troops, aircraft in capital city Visible demonstration to signal inevitability Speed and coordination are critical—hesitation often leads to failure. 5. Legitimization Phase After seizing power, coup leaders must justify their actions: Announce on national media Claim to be restoring order, protecting the constitution, or saving the country Suspend or rewrite parts of the constitution Declare emergency rule or form a “transitional council” They may promise elections later—even if those are delayed or manipulated. 6. Consolidation of Power The new regime works to secure control: Purge rivals from military and government Gain support (or neutrality) from:Military rank-and-file Police and intelligence services Key economic actors Seek international recognition (or at least avoid sanctions) Failure here often leads to counter-coups or civil conflict. 7. Outcomes Coups typically result in one of several paths: Successful consolidation → long-term military or authoritarian rule Return to civilian rule → after transitional period Counter-coup or civil war → if factions resist Failure → plotters arrested or killed Key Insight A coup is less about mass public support and more about control of institutions—especially the military and communications. If those are secured quickly, even an unpopular group can take power.

@ggreenwald In Iran’s political system, no one can negotiate with the U.S. without state approval The Supreme Leader controls foreign policy The Supreme National Security Council executes it The Foreign Ministry implements it The IRGC has veto power over security matters

@Les_Aker @ggreenwald How the hell can you be this stupid? There is no plausible diplomatic mechanism where Donald Trump could be “negotiating with someone in Iran” in any meaningful way without the explicit authorization of the Iranian state.

@ggreenwald Nice dodge, Glenn. Anyone willing to negotiate would not be another hardline Supreme Leader in the mold of the already dead ones.

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

Today, Trump postponed striking Iran’s energy infrastructure out of fear of fluctuations in U.S market prices. Yet for over twenty days, he has watched Gulf societies come under Iranian missile strikes, as Gulf economies incur tens of billions of dollars in damages - without this prompting any change in his decisions. When the Qatari Minister of Energy warned his American counterpart that striking Iran’s gas fields would inevitably trigger retaliatory strikes against gas fields in the Gulf, he was disregarded. They attacked Iran anyway, leaving the Gulf states to face their fate alone against Iranian missiles. Striking Iran’s gas fields did not create any strategic advantage, but rather inflicted massive losses upon the Gulf’s energy sector, which ultimately benefits American gas companies. Trump only speaks about the Strait of Hormuz or the price of oil. In his eyes, the Gulf societies are barely worth a single barrel of crude.

@OrenMarmorstein What a crock of Zionist lying shit. Rome, Berlin nor Paris did a Hitler style illegal war of aggression on Iran. Israel and the US did. Both regimes belong at the Hague.

BBC News reports that at least 20 hospitals and medical centres in Iran have been targeted in air strikes – each a grave war crime – but forgets to mention in the entire segment who is actually targeting them.

BREAKING: Rabbi Yehuda Gilad, head of Yeshivat Ma’ale Gilboa, visited Khirbet Humsa in the West Bank following a settler pogrom in which a 29-year-old Palestinian farmer was sexually assaulted, his family was beaten, and hundreds of his sheep were stolen. Below is his full statement, translated from Hebrew: Letter from the Head of the Yeshiva, Rabbi Yehuda Gilad With God’s help, Rosh Chodesh Nisan — “a time of atonement for all their generations” Yesterday I went through a very difficult and deeply disturbing experience. I visited Khirbet Humsa (about a 30-minute drive from our yeshiva), where a pogrom carried out by hilltop youth took place about a week ago. I heard the details of what happened there from several sources, including Ruti — a woman I have known for years and trust completely. It turns out that in the early hours of the night, a group of rioters (around 30–40 people) arrived, equipped with sticks and many zip ties. They bound the men (and apparently also two foreign volunteers, though I am not certain of this), and then beat them all over their bodies with fists and clubs. We saw many remnants of the zip ties on the ground. The men required treatment at the hospital in Afula for injuries of varying severity. At the same time, the attackers stole the entire herd — about 300 head — belonging to the few families living there, under unimaginable conditions of poverty. At first, I heard that there had also been sexual violence, and I did not believe it… Yesterday we arrived at the site with Ruti, a friend of mine who is well known to them. When they saw us — Rabbi Avidan Friedman and myself — they visibly recoiled in terror and anxiously pointed to the kippot on our heads. Ruti tried to calm them, explaining that we were not among the attackers. Even so, at the beginning of the meeting, they were hesitant and afraid. I heard directly from a young man — a firsthand witness — what had happened there. From his face, the blue bruise in his eye, and his sorrowful expression, it was clear he was telling the truth. In that same conversation (with the help of a translator), he described in detail the prolonged abuse they endured while bound. Then, with deep shame, he told us something I had previously found impossible to believe. I find it difficult — my hands tremble as I write this about Jews — and yet I will write it, because I am convinced it indeed happened. Yes, these wicked individuals bound his genitals in an extremely painful way — not to mention the humiliation involved. These events recall the pogroms our ancestors endured in various diasporas. Have we become like the worst of the nations? I want to turn to the question: what should be done? But I feel that I am still at the stage of crying out. Alas — what has become of us!

How many times have Arab Palestinians and the greater Arab world attacked Jewish Palestinians and subsequently Israel since 1920? Do you know? Which side was adamantly against a two-state solution, regardless of the percentage of territory split, since the Peel Commission? You have become an Iranian terrorist apologist. “Iran only attacks when attacked” might be the dumbest words ever uttered. They are a fascist, theocratic state that sponsors global terrorism. You are completely backwards.
