The Big 12’s court action left no choice. Even if this may be the cleanest end to the situation, you can bet Tech is already talking exit strategy from the Big 12.
Ending the tortilla tradition and now this, they don’t have Tech’s back and they shouldn’t benefit from having us.

Regardless of the merits, legal or otherwise; it’s abundantly clear that Texas Tech made an understandable but colossal mistake in supporting Sorsby’s appeal. Ditto for the Texas AG. Sometimes the better strategy is take the short term L and preserve the long term benefits.

Tech fans saying that UC should be dealt with first is like telling the police who have been investigating a string of bank robberies to deal with a prior robbery first rather than dealing with the one in progress.
