@authorslmurray But I usually give them the first few chapters and give them the option to bail if they really don’t like it or have changed their minds. That usually weeds out those who will actually finish the manuscript and give you feedback. Hope this helps 🙏🏻

@authorslmurray Anytime I come across someone who enjoys sci-fi, I’ll dig a little deeper and see if they really read. If they tend to read a little more than not, I’ll ask to see if they’ll look at my manuscript and most will say yes. (Cont.)

@SDDonovan I do. Just keep it something that you update and work on every day for 20 minutes (or less if that’s the time you have.) Build something professional for when you become a “professional.”

I have my own domain that I keep active, but I don't have a website. It almost seems pointless with how social media is. I probably should make it but I am SO bad at that stuff that I wouldn't know how to even start. Do you maintain a website?
